Another of the many platforming mascots back then that bit the dust. Interestingly for those who didn't know, Croc was created by Argonaut Games who were responsible for the Super FX hardware on the SNES and Star Fox. They pitched the first game to Nintendo with Yoshi as the controllable character, but Nintendo rejected it which ended the relationship between both companies. Argonaut Games later shut down.

Argounaut ever was an indipendent developer. It partnered with Nintendo in the 16-bit but never been bought by Nintendo. The partneship ended in mid '90 (not a happy ending: Nintendo didn't published Star Fox 2 and rejected their 3D Yoshi's platform game) but Argonaut closed in the mid '00, well after that period, so is not Nintendo fault at all
I remember this game from my childhood... It's such a shame it didn't make it.
Same I remember playing the first one at my grandparents' house on the PSX when I was in elementary school, never could beat it but I still found it charming.

Childhood memories. Played both part 1 and 2. Pretty underrated games in my opinion.
Funny...this song was used in that Ace Attorney fan game Contempt of Court.(It's been recently completed, and I do recommend it by the way) I was just looking at songs used in that game since I beat it a few days ago. This was used in the first town you visit.

Definitely my favorite level in this game. It's the easiest one too lol.
So soothing and relieving. It reminds me of Aramis Spring from Tales of the abyss and the Releweise Spring from Tales of Vesperia. Yet, it's also one of those songs that makes me dream of flying. Nice choice for today!
