Faxanadu is one of my favorite NES games and I prefer it over other games it shares similarities with on the console, like Castlevania II and Zelda II. It's too bad it flew over most people's radar back then, which prevented it from being the start of possibly great franchise.
Ooh, I'm gonna have to check this game out after this. It has really interesting music.
Kasran Fox a pretty good nes game. id prefer zelda 2 better, but this game is on par with zelda 2. definitely a hidden gem it seems because i only see people on the internet ever to have talked about this game.
Well, Faxanadu is one of the several spin-offs of Dragon Slayer II: Xanadu. The latest spin-off, Tokyo Xanadu, released on the PSVita just last year I believe.
I actually still own the original cartridge. It was definitely a fun game.

Haven't play this game since I was 10 in 2003 and 04 never pass this level me and my cousin would play this was my favorite level cause of the music reminds me of the The Gonnies

One of the first video games I ever played and a staple sound from my earliest memories. The password theme is hypnotizing. btw this game is super cheap and common so puck it up if you want a great nes game

I remember always wanting this game. Unfortunately I was only able to rent it. I still listen to the soundtrack while playing wow. Weird I know.
