Oh, the nostalgia with this one. Super Mario Galaxy is one of those games that I'll never ever forget. It helped shape me as the video game fan I am today. Always puts me to tears when I hear this track specifically; I remember when I first went around exploring the comet observatory. To a 9-10 year-old, it was mind blowing. Quite late to this upload, but thanks for bringing back the memories. =D
This really feels like one of those upbeat 19th century pieces of classical music. Hurrah to Kondo for capturing that feel.

And here it is, my favorite Mario game of all time and one of its best songs. I remember getting this masterpiece as one of my first games for the Wii back in 2009, and it stands as my favorite Wii game of all time.

One of the few themes composed by the man Koji Kondo himself, and certainly one of the best. As much as I adored Galaxy and enjoyed 3D World, the fact that Super Mario Odyssey returns to the open world roots of 64 fills me with happiness. Running around tighlty designed sandboxes looking for ways to reach your goal (will there be stars in Odyssey?) always feels like an awesome treasure hunt, and learning these layouts is super satisfying. I'm beyond excited!
