I'd honestly be really disappointed if 100 Acre Wood isn't in KH3. It's actually not one of my favorite worlds but Pooh and the gang are such a series tradition if you ask me.
I'd not just be disappointed (well, as much as I can be for not being a fan of KH), but I'd be surprised.

back when Kingdom Hearts was a self contained story....now you need a master's degree to even attempt to understand wtf is going on, im not even sure if I want to play Kingdom Hearts 3
There are some very good 'picture' summaries you can google that really simplify the mess that is the canon storyline,
If you kept up with the franchise, you'd understand whats going on.
@dannywolfpero thats the problem isnt it? How the fuck can you expect your audience to play a shit ton of side games over countless consoles just to be able to somehow grasp what the fuck the story is about? And mind you, I have watched and read countless videos and articles explaining the story detail by detail over every single game since KH2, and the conclusion I arrived is that the writters have no idea what the hell they are going for and are just making stuff up on the fly to somehow connect every single game in the franchise, its just a bunch of awful storytelling. My opinion anyways.
@Hatt Hanz I certainly agree that some parts of the story are awful, believe me, I'm the one people ask to explain the KH plotline. I think we fans still don't know what a "Kingdom Hearts" is too. Like, I thought KH1, CoM, and KH2 were fine (up to a point). The story was making sense chronologically. Days is basically the other side of CoM (Sora's perspective vs Roxas's perspective). BBS's story was new and refreshing imo until they took this Xehanort thing and pushed it into maximum overdrive. I haven't played KHx or DDD because of the console jumps, but I'm still going to play KH3 cause I wanna see how it ends. They already took 10+ years of my life, I have to see it to the end.
@dannywolfpero yeah, ill probably play it anyways, but i was 12 years old when I first played Kingdom Hearts. Im 24 now, and KH2 was the last in the franchise I played. I'll do it for the gameplay, nostalgia and closure, but I expect alot of awkwardness and cringy moments
While I agree that it is needlessly amazingly complicated, I'm almost certain that KH3 will relatively simplify things and only contain consistent noting of all those previous secondary titles. They'd all be helpful, perhaps 'too' helpful, but not necessarily required.
@Malcolm Swoboda i remember playing KH2 without playing Chains of Memories and thinking what the fuck was going on everytime scenes from that game appeared. Ican only assume KH3 will exponentiate that feeling even more trying to explain how we got to KH3 from KH2
@Hatt Hanz Ah, I did the same thing but didn't think that. I was only momentarily confused and aware that there were other events that happened, but at least the basic gist of all main story events of KH2 were comprehensible. It wasn't enough - on that I'd agree - but it wasn't *horrible*. IMO of course.
@Hatt Hanz Oh yeah! I remember that too. I thought everyone was a new character for a while. Technically I never even finished CoM too. And when Jiminy's Journal added the rest of the Organization to it, I was like "Wait, what? Who are these people? I didn't see them."
@Malcolm Swoboda It feels nice to look at these old comments through the lens of having played KH3. Kinda like a time capsule before we all realized the KH writers have no idea what they're doing anymore.
The KH2 remake version is really gorgeous. This is too synthy for my tastes.

Still playing through Kingdom Hearts for the first time. I just remember being so enamored of this place when this song played. Just brought back nostalgia of, what, my toddler years when I used to watch Winnie the Pooh. It was so charming, I loved it! Now, I guess as I collect more Torn Pages, I'll see why people don't like 100 Acre Woods, but still.

I'm pretty sure you'll keep having this feeling. Maybe the minigames could have been better, but it's a cute story!
This song is great. It really set the mood that this is a place untouched by evil (which isn't totally true, considering its pages are scattered across the worlds), and that you could just relax and not have to worry about anything.
Didn't think you would go for this one out of the whole soundtrack, but hey, it's your call.

100 Acre Wood is a world where you can just take a break and hang out with Pooh and Friends. That's what I think but I could be wrong.
This theme is one of my favorites from KH. Its just so whimsical and nostalgic.

100 Acre Woods is almost as good as Agrabah.
Is it possible to listen to this without a smile? (I just tested and the answer is yes, but still!). I'll be honest, I hated The 100 Acre Woods and the various mechanics in it, but its music was one of my favorites. Shimomura's touch on this classic theme is perfect.
Oh? If I may ask, why you didn't like it? I really enjoyed that world, wish it was more content to it. It was too short.

I agree, he did a great job with the theme. Brought back memories of my childhood, when I watched the Winnie the Pooh movies as a little boy. Any time I hear this theme, I have to smile, and it even brings tears of joy to my eyes.
