All you need to remember is that it was weird as hell.
I remember not being able to get very far in this game as a kid, but I tried it again not too long ago, and I can make perfect sense of it all now, even going so far as completing the game 100%. Game's actually pretty good. And as this video shows, the soundtrack was *really* good.
The game is actually easy, but for an odd reason most people or at least by most of their comments/bad reviews seem to had difficulties playing this game. I as a kid didn't had much of a sweat on the game but still challenging, just not that challenging enough to not beat it at that time.
AAAAH! What is that monstrosity? It's horrifying! Those eyes, filled with both pain at the sole fact of being alive and deep, malevolent hatred for anyone else that's alive. Those weirdly proportioned limbs! That lack of a fifth limb on what should be a glove! That physics-defying pose! It's all designed to terrify me! Begone, foul creature, go back to the abyss from whence you came! Cool track though.
Atlantis Realm, Level 1 and 2 were my favorite themes from this game because they were so relaxing. They hold a lot of nostalgia for me and I occasionally go back and listen to these themes to remember all the fun zany platformers for the N64 I grew up on.
this theme does have a great eerie kinda feel in that 1 part
OMG I remember this game, I had it for the N64 as a little kid, it was one of my favorites, stellar music and challenging gameplay as well this brings back so much nostalgia!

Remember giving up on this game at the circus level when I was young. Impossible to understand what you were supposed to do. Didn't like the game much anyways so whatever.
TBH I got stuck on that part too and I ended up breaking my console because of it lol.

I don't know why but I loved this game. I am proud to say I beat it but man there was some truly frustrating moments in this game. my favorite music was from the circus level 1 I believe.
This game is so nostalgic, couldn't make sense of it as a kid. But the OST is pretty underrated imo
I agree the music was awesome, for Nintendo 64 standards it holds up pretty well today.

Its not that that bad and honestly I think this game had great potential. The gameplay delivered new ideas but also had problems with basic stuff like controls or bad design choices. Maybe it just needed some polishing for being a n64 classic
