Such memories with this game. This is especially a memorable theme, giving off that perfect "near the end of a journey" feel.

You know what? I actually wouldn't mind another Paper Mario game in this game's style. As long as the story is good, the humor is fresh, it gives a decent challenge, and it expands upon SPM's core gameplay.
I think Bleck succeeded in destroying all worlds. Everything feels empty in the Paper Mario universe now.

It was such a fun game! Glad I took the risk (same goes for Sticker Star, there are a lot of very FUN moments in sticker star, well worth the 15 bucks I payed for it!)

Good game. Would've been great if they got someone to edit those atrociously long dialogue scenes.
The clock ticking at certain parts of the song really adds to the atmosphere and overall tone of the game during the castle levels...now I have the urge to play this game again (absolutely love it as well; feel it doesn't get the props it deserves when people flat out don't acknowledge it when talking about the series)

Super Paper Mario was still an RPG at heart, but instead of being turn-based, it was an Action RPG. Which I actually really approve of because the Mario platforming gameplay is better integrated, and it was also exciting.

Welcome back to Castle Bleck, Lord Commander (OK, that was too easy). Color Splash looks quite intriguing, though you have to be cautiously excited after Sticker Star's disappointment. I'm still not sure I understand why they decided to move away from many of the series' RPG elements after TTYD, starting with this game. I do have to say that I absolutely loved Super Paper Mario, so it's not necessarily a negative.
I mean Super Paper Mario was great all it tried to do was put the MARIO in Paper MARIO, and imo it succeeded in blending the two... then sticker star and now colour splash have taken up the route of trail and error bosses where you use an item to instantly win and I dunno why at all other than to make it unnecessarily gimmicky. That being said this is some Awesome music!
It started when Miyamoto told them (when they started making Super PM) that he wanted them to try new stuff and innovate instead of just keeping the TTYD gameplay. Recently when asked about the removal of rpg stuff, the director said that Nintendo already has the Mario & Luigi series for the traditional RPG elements (though it's not a good reason in my opinion, but it's what she said).

When Sticker Star was made, Shigeru Miyamoto said that they should focus on gameplay and not story fr handheld games. Imo there are two big things with saying this: the gameplay in Sticker Star is the least good in the series (still enjoyable, but not as enjoyable), and turn based games need to be interesting to keep the player interested. When they removed the story and all of the characters, and replaced everything with generic toads, Sticker Star kinda lost this. That being said, Sticker Star is good, but the least good in the series.
