This is a pretty mellow theme considering that it's one of the last levels in the game.

I love this one, especially the shift at 0:38 and the great bass. Great sound mastering. I'm still surprised to see how much of a decline in sales outside of Japan this series had after each release. I'm sure Sony could find a way to reboot this franchise soon, especially with the surprisingly great sales of the latest Ratchet & Clank game. It shows that there's new demand for 3D platformers on Sony's console.

To be fair, Ratchet & Clank had a movie tie-in, hence why it sold so well. 3D Platformers without movie tie-ins may not be so lucky. Of course, I hope I'm wrong! X3

The game came out before the movie tie in though so I think a better explanation would be that since it was another game in a great series it was able to do well.

Perhaps, but Ape Escape 2 has already been ported to PS4, upscaled and with trophy support (AE 3 TBA).
