The vocals in this song sound like the same ones (or at least ones with very similar lyrics) as in the Dragonseeds Fighter Division battle theme. It's interesting to hear the same vocals used in different ways.

CHILDHOOD COME BACK
This game's soundtrack held up surprisingly very well despite being compared to the masterful soundtracks of Stewart Copeland. The game itself on the other hand is as forgettable as any bog-standard platformer.
I've never actually played a proper Spyro game. Maybe I should give them a try, especially with music like this.
+L McD The PS1 Spyros are the good ones, so play one of those. Spyro: Year of the Dragon is probably the best of them, followed by Spyro: Ripto's Rage.

The end of an era for Spyro the Dragon... then he got rebooted into some prophecy meant to save the world or destroy it... or is it all really just a prequel?

Late upload! In my book, this game was a fun, solid 7/10 platformer. Nothing amazing, but it did its job well. The soundtrack's quality is very impressive and after so many years, the didgeridoo in this theme is still just as awesome. You can't go wrong with some didgeridoo.
I never got to play A Hero's Tail. Stopped at 2 actually cause I never got to get Year of the Dragon as a child. Wish Spyro (and Crash Bandicoot) would get brought back. Rayman (although changed) got brought back and Origins and Legends did well.
+SupraDarky I'm probably not the first to think of this, but we're getting close (kinda) to the 1980+, are you going to try and upload a VGM from the same year as the number of the video?
