I'd put this on the forget list for a while. I did a play-through not to long ago and the game is quite easy. Also the story was terribly forgetful.
Why am I reminded of Moomin (mumin?) valley?

+Adam Epp I'll admit, I've never seen the Ghost in the Shell films, but I do know that Kenji Kawai did the music for those films.

Yep, and happy for it. I do like the newer games, but I still love the oldies.
Tank control are easy to get used to, and they fit the "vulnerable" state the player is intended to feel.
I always wanted to give this survival horror a try but I keep forgetting about it. There aren't too many great games in the genre I have yet to play, so I'll try to remember it the next time I want to get into some scary adventures. Deep Fear only came out in Japan and Europe and it was actually the last Saturn game to be released on the old continent. I love the buildup and the last section at 1:58.
+SupraDarky You might want to look into the game a little more before you play it. I've played some of it, and it's pretty sub-par. The amazingly bad voice acting, however, kind of makes it worth it.
+Bentendo64 The music is seriously by far and away the best part of the game. Actually the music is too good for the game in all honesty. I did enjoy watching the Retsupurae of it though and go back to watch parts of it from time to time.

@Joey Ford Haha nice one. I never got around to watching that one though I saw the Spoony One's old riff on Phantasmagoria 2 that had some classic moments.
