Thinking about it, this could be something you could hear in Record of Lodoss War.
A mysterious and beautiful song featured in a unique, time-honored game. The singer's voice is perfectly haunting for this theme.
Anyone else think that the first few seconds this was going to be that one demonic sounding Boss music from Sonic CD, you know the one, the American One.
Or even 'Age of Oppression', from Skyrim. The melodies match...

sweet bitter ending leave a greater impact then your average happy/good ending in a typical game. match it up with a impact full melody song and it becomes one of the most amazing games to ever expierience.
Better than Shadow of the Colossus....I love this game, one of my favourites of all time....Tears.

@Positronology yeah i had to hunt this game down hard. Kept calling gamestops and eb games in my state for a couple years. Now they're released on HD though :)
this game was one of the best game that went unnoticed amidst other flashy titles. It has a beautiful theme song and incredible vibrant environment.

I tried to play this about a year ago, and sadly, it was just waaaaayyyy to outdated for me. The main problem for me was the AI behind the girl - for the most part she would just run around in circles, and trying to get her from point A to point B was a pain even if it was a straight line between them. And since the "main objective" of the game (in the lack of better term) was to protect her, it ruined the game completely for me, as I just hated that compilation óf ones and zeros.

I can't wait for the team ico collection, damn it all i have to wait till June 2011 in Germany for it to come out. I will buy it on the first day and take a holiday from work i guess. And then i'll do an Ico+Shadow of Colossus marathon!

"Powerful" doesn't the impact this song causes on you when you've played this game all the way through. I've heard it two or three times before buying and finally playing the game, and still, it made me cry!. A game with such a single gameplay and controls, yet such power, such message, SUCH FEELINGS!, now THAT'S an excellent game... I still wanna cry just from hearing the song while I remember the ending sequence *sob*...
Team Ico is the creators name right? well their games are like a movie experience.. I mean, through the storyline, even if there doesn't have to be much cutscenes you feel grown to the characters and they always have an ending that makes u express how you've grown to the game. it makes me excited about The Last Guardian, that game looks great! I kinda feel like it'll have a sad ending thought with how Team Ico's games end though :( Why does the creature have to be so cute!
I didn't think about it that way - to dissect them to the mechanic level. I wonder what direction The Last Guardian will take; it looks to be also quite action-oriented.

Your a kid with horns. You find a girl in a dress. ADVENTURE! 3 hours later or so, ADVENTURE END! And it's awesome.
I played a demo of it a few years ago. It was very interesting. Wouldn't mind playing it for real.. if only to just know the story line

For a game that was a short as it was, it was... Simply amazing. The atmosphere was stunning, you could feel it when you played. And although at times it got a little confusing, it really was a beautiful game.
This song brings back memories of that castle.

You should definitely get an eBay account and use PayPal... it's very safe and you're depriving yourself of a great game!! It's not hard. I've been using eBay to buy stuff for 5+ years and without it there's plenty of games I never would have played and plenty of anime I never would have watched... do yourself a favor and get on there!!
