amazing, brother in the net, that you posted this... i just listened to this while driving in pouring rain through a mountain deep in Asia on my Android MiniPSF player. This song in particular really struck a chord deep inside, made me remember the Lord's love for us.

For some reason I half expected Mr. Mister to start playing. Tell me I'm not the only one who thought Mr. Mister upon reading the song title.
Well if you never played the game then yeah anyone would've expected it, but this tune plays in a part you can't forget in the game. Not only that, but there is plenty of soundtracks that have one "Kyrie" in them and it was a thing back then.

Gotta love Patasite Eve. The soundtrack, the story, the gameplay is really memorable. One of the greatest games I've ever played.

This game will always hold a special spot for me, there still just isn't anything else quite like it. Shimomura's awesome soundtrack matched the game's masterful and chilling atmosphere. Eve has to be one of my favorite female antagonists in a video game, you truly felt like she posed a threat. I remember Eve being on the scene in Central Park, this theme starts playing, the FMV kicks in and while she sings in front of the spectators, she manipulates their mitochondria and melts them into slime. The mix of the calm music and the horrible scene worked so well. The horror roots were very strong and that's part of what made PE so memorable.
+SupraDarky So true! I loved this game. I remember importing it from America and using a cheat disc on the PSone to bypass the region restrictions
+SupraDarky It really is sad this series is just beyond dead. There is just a special feeling that this game invokes that no other PE could invoke. Though 2 was pretty incredible as a game, the feeling was completely different and 3rd birthday just...killed the series. It didn't even feel anything remotely like PE.

Has anyone here beat the game and then went back and beat the secret final boss, Maya? I did it only for the fact that it's your sister in the story, and let me just say that Maya is way harder than U.B. and Eve combined at the end of the game.
@Zack Devro I have several times. But Maya isn't THAT hard, if you know what to do. Just get your attack stat maxed out with all the bonus points and preferably use a machine gun for its speed along with triple command. She doesn't last that long when you're doing max damage 3x every turn ;)
+yamiryushi I'd say the trickiest boss for me was the ever multiplying cockroach :(

+SupraDarky I like that scene too. And I love how the writers of this game made Eve herself to be personally tied to Aya and her Past! The way she taunts Aya, the way she takes innocent lives without any form of Humanity. And the way Eva constantly Endangers the people Aya cares for, really forces Aya step up her game! I mean, you literally see it in the Cutscenes how distressed Aya becomes as Eva continues to ruin her Life and the lives of others by just her Existence! The Helicopter Scene is the best showcase of Aya's sadness as the other pilots give their lives willingly for Aya because they had faith that she could Beat Eve! So hats off to the writers of this game, it really is an Emotional and Powerful game.
+Zack Devro I actually did this about maybe a month ago just for old times sake since this is my favorite game of all time. Deciding to run a AK47 for the final 30~ floors or so, I easily had around 600 attack and 99 Active Time speed for Truebred. I had also collected so many Revives that I counted 13 of them in my inventory. Needless to say, she didn't stand a chance. It's just a shame there's no boss fight that actually PUSHES the player to their limits with all the overpowered equipment they drop in your lap. Oh well. :)
+SupraDarky That scene in central park is amazing, and when the mitocondria mass appear again in day 5 and this theme comes in make a memorable scene.Beautiful.
