oooh nice to see some yokai watch music here. I personally think that the OST od tge series is vastly overshadowed by its various catchy intro themes so it was a pleasure to see thid here. especially since (in usual L5 fashion) the series has rather good OST. Definitely proof that not every videogame needs to have "epic" music to have a good ost _not saying that YW hasn't its fair share from epic music as that is far from the truth ahaha) I really hope we get some YW music from this channel like the battle theme against classic yokai,any od the final boss themes, durian satou carneval or any of the themes associated with lord Enma . and thqts just to nane a few haha

The game is alright for the most part, nothing great but not bad as a good number of western reviewers would have you believe(for some reason many seem to think just because it's in the same vein as Pokémon that's automatically bad). However the game has it's problems from an incredibly weak story, to the worst aspect and a nearly unforgivable problem in a monster catching game...the monster catching is factually the worst aspect of the game and sometimes feels like it barely functions(imagine if you threw a Masterball at a Pokémon and it still did nothing. This happens well over 50% of the time in Yo-Kai Watch) I did beat it though and even got Kyubi(and forgot to save so all my post game content is gone :( ) Overall it's got a good formula and it feels like if they could just flesh out the story and PLEASE IMPROVE THE CATCHING MECHANICS I think it really could compete with Pokémon(that is to say do well not just in Japan but worldwide). The third one is even taking place in America. Let's get a Sasquatch Yo-Kai! Or Jersey Devil!
This game rocks it defiantly deserves more praise in the west eventually it will catch on more I hope!

@Schwarzenigger Nope. Inazuma Eleven is also game first then anime. Although on Go and afterwards they started caming out the same time.

This might be a bit of a longshot after all this time! Is the anime worth watching? I haven't played the games.
@greenyxi I loved the games (still waiting for 4 in America) and the show gets rid of all the story and development from the games, and replaces it with childish writing and annoying pins. When it did try to implement the story, there was no context. If you watch anything, watch the movies, as they are much better at representing the games.

This is quite a jazzy battle theme. I played the demo and liked it, but the demo was a bit too short for me to get into it. The art style is definitely interesting. Speaking of 3DS games, i will be getting Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright soon. I was thinking about getting either Fates or Awakening. If anyone has any opinions on either game, let me know.
I actually haven't played Fates yet, but aside from a slightly botched localization and some sketchy marketing techniques (releasing it as multiple games and not one), it seems to be better than Awakening. If you're new to Fire Emblem you should probably get Birthright, and if you're more confident in your SRPG skills you should probably get Conquest.
+Sam it would be my first SRPG.

(slamdunkgators) They're both very friendly when it comes to new SRPG players, but just so you know, Fates Birthright is pretty much Awakening, but better in every aspect (except stuff like characters, plot, music, which are more subjective). So if you think it might be hard to go back to an older game, I'd recommend playing Awakening, then Birthright.

A new challenger approaches in the monster catching genre! And with its already established popularity (million sellers in Japan), this franchise by Level 5 is a worthy challenger. This game released in 2013 in Japan but only at the end of last year in the West. The great music certainly piques my interest.
it may have done extremely well in japan, but its sales have been relatively poor in the west, as far as i understand.
