I have only played 3 Tales of so far, and the rank would be: Symphonia > Graces > Symphonia DoNW

A bit too short but still a wonderful tune for meditating.
I loved this game so much, it's definitely may favorite Tales game. I I thought the story was very endearing, but then again I'm a sucker for narratives about extreme heartfelt friendship :P
honestly, if you want a tales of game to play, I'd go with xillia over this one.

All around, I really enjoyed this game. The story was mediocre, and that's giving it more credit than it deserves, but the music was decent, the world was interesting enough, and I really loved the characters (except for Assbel, of course). The skits were amazing in the game, and really brought colour to the characters as well. Also, this is the first game in the series to actually get me to love the combat. I tolerate it in other Tales games, but genuinely enjoyed it in Graces.
I haven't played a Tales games since Vesperia a couple years ago, so 2016 seems like a good year to play another one and Graces might be it! This is a very ambient theme with a nice, full sound, especially with headphones.
+SupraDarky Graces is definitely a mixed bag, especially after Vesperia. The story is mediocre but I found that the character interactions were entertaining. I think Graces might have the best skits and combat all around.

+SupraDarky Definitely a mixed bag, but my opinions were the opposite of most others. I liked the characters but I didn't like the battle system. I didn't like the skits, but I liked the world it presented. I think the game has more potential than for what was achieved.
+SupraDarky I tell you what Supra, lots will tell you Graces is mediocre at best. Don't listen to them. While the story is, admittedly, a tad blander or generic compared to Symphonia or Vesperia, It's still fairly engaging. The Combat is bar none, the best in a tales game, and extremely fluid. Also a heads up, the description says this is Crush That Steel, just figured you should probably fix it. :)
