This fits a game where running is the focus so well. Starts out you looking out to the world then it kicks off as you run and feel the breeze.
This song changes things up as it goes in such a subtle way it's just perfect.

The great music quality reminds me of a little game i played where you had to make games. It was pretty simple and you had to hire programmers, writers, musicians, and artists i think. So whenever I see this contrast I always imagine they pay for a super good musician and then run out of money for the writers and programmers.
This music was designed to keep you calm during that god awful level

Well first you might conceptualize what you want to capture and then follow through, and capture it. Just like a good book, a good song, if complicated, is built from the expansion-and-follow up of upon a concrete conceptual(imagined) happening. Like, imagine something in your head, and now find and make sounds that "feel" like they are of that thing. And for a song like this, it's a complicated multi-staged happening. For example like, romeo and juliet or someshit has different "feeling" at each arc of the story. And they blend and re-play as to make the experience more digestible.

I don't get where the hate for this game comes from. Allright it is a Mario Galaxy clone in some aspects, but it's a solid game. It got solid reviews allround, but I only see comments of people who bash the game. Again: I just don't get it.

Sadly one of the 3D Sonics that make ALL OTHER 3d sonic games look terrible, because others were much better than this. To not be close-minded though, wow, this realy is a great song! Respect

+A. Ahmou The Chronicles game was made by Bioware, creator of Mass Effect, so blame them for that shitty soundtrack because they did all the music. Also what is Sonic Gamescom? I googled it and that doesn't even seem to exist. Every Sega produced Sonic game has an amazing soundtrack end of story.

+RydazRuff Actually Chronicles' soundtrack was made by Richard jaques, who made the music for Sonic R and 3D Blast on the Saturn, both sonic boom games as well as black knight. The game was released in a rather unfinished state, which explains the Gameboy-esque music and the poor cutscenes and character models.

I haven't played a game in this franchise in a long while, but I keep up with their soundtracks since they are always top tier. Lost World is no different, with this specific theme being one of my favorites in the whole series. Great piano and strings backed with a nice beat, gotta love it.
