This is my favorite track in the game, closely followed by the overworld remix right before attempting the last level.

This one track in particular was composed by Manami Natsumae (composer of the first Megaman game for the NES), tho.

The stage theme of Plague Knight is my favorite stage theme in the entire game and my favorite contribution by Matsumae. As for the Plague Knight DLC, i haven't played much of it, but I will say that it has been unusually satisfying to play. I like that Yacht Club Games did it as free DLC and i feel that it much more challenging to adapt to.

One of my favorites from this OST. I still think An Underlying Problem is my favorite though. Plague Of Shadows is pretty great; I think I actually prefer playing as Plague Knight.

Plague of Shadow's is out? On what platform? I have it on 3DS and I'm not seeing it in the e-shop. Didn't see it on steam either. Is it not out yet in North America?

@balltavorb That might be it, if you have beaten it you should be able to start a new file in which you can choose your character

I actually just finished my file, and still can't access it. I haven't tried clearing it for NG+ yet. I'm kind of afraid to do so without confirmation that it will work.

Oh man, this was some of the best DLC I've ever seen. They improved on everything the vanilla game had to offer, except for music. That one's as great as ever! Youtube user Major Third has a great couple videos analyzing in depth some of Jake Kaufman's work on SK, it's really worth a listen.

This game's soundtrack in general is one of the best I've heard in years. Fits the NES-era feel and adds its own near flair.

@Josh Walker Nope, since this uses the NES´s 5 soundchannels + 3 extra sound channels taken from Konami´s VRC6 chip.

The Plague Knight expansion they released this year is DLC done right, especially when it's a Kickstarter stretch goal making it free. I have to admit, I couldn't help but feel disappointment during the first hour when I just couldn't get a feel for the controls, but after a while it clicked and I realized that this was actually very fun. Plague Knight plays so completely different from Shovel Knight that you see all stages in a different eye. Harder to control/master, but with a much higher and overpowered ceiling.

+SupraDarky I had the same issue. That first hour i was not enjoying myself. But once the controls/mechanics clicked, it was GOLDEN!

+SupraDarky Am I the only person on the internet that clicked with the controls almost instantaneously? I swear I am, because I felt they were tight as heck! (Floaty jump is helpful too, though.)
