Omg this was a great game I was stuck for years
I'm really happy I found this song randomly. This melody is so smooth and relaxing. I can totally imagine cruising down a lonesome highway wind in your hair next to whoever you love. I also find it weird that it's labeled haunted level.
I like how i'm listening to THESE songs over regular music. I blame Supra.

Video game music sometimes comes in the form of loops instead of full-on tracks so there's no pre-defined length, so that if you're on a level for a long period of time, the music can still keep playing without needing to switch tracks or transition to no music at all or something. Listening to songs like these out of the context of video games can be pretty nice because it transitions into itself, so i can loop it and still have a good time listening to it. That and Supra finds some of the best video game music I've ever heard.
Wow, really nice to see this make the list. I loved this track and stage. So much shit went down there: disguising yourself as a ghost to blend in with real ghosts, searching a hedge maze for batteries to power-up your ghost sucking vacuum, a dance-off against the ghosts, being imprisoned and freeing yourself with your robot bro, and tricking sheep-worshiping ghost cultists so you can make a stealthy escape.
Like Eating Glass by Bloc Party sounds like this song.

It really perplexes me that they made a game based on the sheepdog and wolf skits in Looney Tunes of all things. Did Wile E Coyote and Roadrunner ever get their own game? What about Duck Dodgers? It's just bizarre. And even more bizarre than that is that it apparently has a great soundtrack.
Oh. Fair enough. Still though, it's weird that Ralph Wolf and Sam Sheepdog get their own game.
Absolutely loved this game back in the day! Had to take a second look though as the the game was known as "Sheep, dog n' Wolf" in Europe! Think I prefer Sheep Raider!

This game really does have some good music (and it seemingly fits the puzzle-solving atmosphere, to me at least; feels somewhat calming).
I only remember playing this game briefly at a friend's house who had it. It seems to be a surprisingly solid game and the soundtrack is quite impressive, with some very high quality recordings. This is a nice, mellow/jazzy track backed with quick drum work, though I don't get a "haunted level" vibe at all.
On a side note, I just realised Wil E. Coyote is not = Ralph Wolf.
