my favourite snes game and i especially like the humor in the german translation. only sad part is, that it is way too easy and nobody cared to spend the game a hard mode like secret of mana got.

Jeremy Soule did an exelelnt job on ths soundtrack and it remains one of my fav rpg and fav rpg soundtracks ever.

While I'm a huge fan of the game, I have always wondered what was the reason the game was created in the first place. There really was no point, especially since it wasn't released in Japan.
@Nuahsy As good as Evermore was, I wish we would have gotten SD3 in the west officially. That game is amazing, and if it did well, maybe the Mana series overall would have gone in a different direction to be something closer to those, rather than a place to experiment with gameplay ideas that haven't seemed to ever work as well as those first 2. :(
@Austin L secret of mana 2 to me was boring, they made the fighting suck and the lame fighting stance..... big let down because I loved the original and evermore.
Always found this era to be creepy as fuck. Everything about it.
@Nergal134 Really. A lot of the stuff in mana seems very dark to me. Just like Super Metroid. I love that I can beat both of them sequentially in less than 1.5 hours.
One of my favorite games ever, listening to its masterful soundtrack always gets me in the mood to start a new file. Unfortunately, it seems like this is a game Square-Enix completely forgot about.
Jeremy Soule was on point with this soundtrack 100%. It's hard to believe he was so young when he did it.

@SupraDarky Its better they forgot about it. Square Penis hasn't put out any decent games (maybe 1 or 2 exceptions) since they used to be squaresoft.

+dumbassmoron yeah, but id settle for just a virtual console port, heck any port at this point. I loved this game, but never owned it (never got a lot of games as a kid) only rented it. The american developed square game criminally overlooked.
@Bigbudd0045 I'm so glad I still own the original. Although I prefer to speedrun it on emulator. Using speedups and save states I can beat it in 36 minutes.
