came from Archage,diablo,wow games and wondering what is this game? still alive? what this game in simple sentences ? hows the pvp ? is it open world where ever u see someone u pvp? hows the grinding/farming? is it limited like u do dungeon once a day or raid once a week? appreicate if u can answer me those questions. looking forward to play it if it's what am seeking ^_^
+Mindshi fter Ragnarok Online, 15 years old counting the beta and still kickin! I wouldn't suggest you play of fRO (french "official") or iRO (International / USA "Official) because they are private servers in denial, but they are still fun none the less, I play on TalonRO and HibbsRO (How I beat baphomet). Simple sentence? Ismetric 3D world with 2D sprites, old, classic and fun. The pvp seems to be balanced on a lot of servers, and some servers are "open world pvp" but most are arena and War of Emperium (Guild vs guild) pvp. I hate grinding in all game, RO's is extensive but isnt completely bad if you have someone to assist you, to have fun while grinding! You can do dungeons as much as you want, they are open for all after all (exept a select few that need an entrance quest, Isntances on the other hand have 24h cooldown. If you want some help, we can talk in the meantime!
I played this game for a few months with my friends. The soundtrack was cool but I stopped playing because of the University. Actually, I don't remember this track so I guess I couldn't reach that part but it's one of the best tracks I've listened of the game ;) Thanks

ooh, you picked my favorite RO tune! I first heard this game's music used in a fan game called "Mushroom Kingdom Fusion". i didn't look it up until very recently, so... yeah I'm sad to hear that I missed out on the craze of RO ;.; The soundtrack blows me away with how consistently good it is throughout, wish I heard of it back then.
Even to this day, I'm in awe of how hype the RO soundtrack was.
This game and its soundtrack was my life for a good number of years, and this song in particular defined the experience of kicking back, relaxing with friends and family, as we walked through the forest killing Rockers and Poporings, and always chilling by that ruined house with mushrooms growing...ah, if there's one thing the game did well, it's create vivid memories. Nothing can take those away!
So much nostalgia, can't believe I was only 13 when I played this game. All the hours I sunk into it...
Looking forward to Tree of Savior. Played RO2 on Steam a long time ago and it was pretty mediocre.

Gotta love Friday nights. This soundtrack has such a great varied style, I have to hand it to the composers at soundTeMP. The sequel didn't seem to be nearly as popular, I heard it wasn't very good unfortunately.
@SupraDarky Here's hoping Tree of Savior (Made by the original RO team) will be as good as RO1.
@SupraDarky well, I personally think that the sequel is quite far behind most of the games that comes out within the same year. Or maybe, the expectation is just too high for RO2 because many player wants to recall that nostalgic feeling with RO which can't be compared actually.
@SupraDarky I loved the first couple songs of RO2, but the game wasn't that great and didn't get that far.
@SupraDarky I hope you can upload "Streamside" too if you haven't done that already, cuz I REALLY love that theme which gives me a "nice welcome" to my very first MMO ever known to me since then, also. it sounds so carefree and peaceful x)
