What an absolutely dreamy song to listen to. I just started listening to the soundtrack and I'm absolutely loving it. It could become my favorite atmospheric soundtrack ever rivaling the ambiance of Antichamber and Minecraft's soundtracks.
This is Qbeh-1: The Atlas Cube?
Of course this is my #1, right? I'm sure you all knew this was coming... or maybe not. I certainly didn't see it coming when I bought this game randomly during a sale. This might be my new favorite 1st person puzzler of all time. The base mechanics are really simple: you walk through floating labyrinths armed only with cubes to use as platforms/keys. There are 4 different cube types, each with their own mechanics, all introduced gradually as you go through the game. So simple, yet so effective. It all feels meticulously designed. The puzzles are perfectly challenging, I never felt frustrated and I love how there are sometimes many solutions to the same puzzle if you know how to exploit the mechanics. The objective is to get to the end of each level, but there's also a hidden token in each of them that adds a layer of challenge as they're usually harder to reach. The game's biggest appeal? The surreal, dream-like atmosphere which made for one of the most zen-like and relaxing gaming experience I've ever had, awesomely complemented with a mellow soundtrack. Each level has it own theme, with this one playing during the level pictured in the video. The level design is also nicely varied. If you're intrigued, I highly recommend watching the couple videos on the game's Steam page, you should quickly understand how it plays. I will absolutely replay this game fully in the future, but I already find myself replaying random levels from time to time when I feel like relaxing. And with its Oculus support, I can't wait to dive in again once I get mine.
A list of notable games that I unfortunately didn't have time to play, but could have made the Top 10 (in some cases, highly probable): Dark Souls II, Bayonetta 2, Persona Q, Dragon Age Inquisition, Talos Principle, South Park, Divinity, Bravely Default.
@SupraDarky I think you would have liked Dark Soul II. It isn't as good as the first but is incredible nonetheless. And the music is very nice.
@SupraDarky I totally love Bravely Default, but I'm not sure that it would qualify for 2014's Top 10 when you have already included music from the game back in 2013, saying that it came out in 2012. Just saying. Of course, if you were to include more music from this game, I would recommend the themes of Ancheim, Florem, and Hartschild.
Talos Principle is quite an interesting puzzler as well. I'm still in beginning levels but the lore of the game is intriguing. The music isn't as good as what this game has though lol.
Monolith? Not the same Monolith that made Guardians of Middle Earth, that company is one of the worst out there. They just abandon fans with games full of bugs.

@SupraDarky The gameplay seems to be a lot like a 3D-version of BOXBOY for 3DS, which is also a nice puzzler, although not very deep and not very challenging.
I played this game last year, partly inspired by this music. It was very much worth it, now i'm waiting a while so i can play it again and enjoy it, it's THAT good
