The song is good it builds up constantly from start to finish. But the mixing could be a bit more dynamic. That said, I like the new BOI music better.
I would've picked the Cathedral music, haha.
Hell. Yes. I was rocking out the second I first heard this theme, I was also surprised how different it sounded from the original basement theme, but, somehow, I like this track a lot better!
I really hate this song. One of the most repetitive songs in the entire soundtrack, and when your game is a roguelike, and this is the song for the very first level, that means you've done something wrong.

Yeah the new soundtrack is mostly a dud all around. Allso not a big fan of how many new items there are. Its the Marvel vs Capcom problem of adding way too much and just upsetting the balance. I restart often from mediocre runs. Otherwise a great game

A better version of my favorite roguelite, a genre I usually don't appreciate. Everything about this game is improved, except for the soundtrack which I find a lot weaker. A perfect game for quick sessions that sometimes end up eating more of your time than planned, I can see myself playing it sporadically over the next years until a sequel hits (if there's ever one). The simple gameplay mixed with random levels and tons of powerups makes it super addicting, and while luck can play a big part, I rarely feel like it completely defines my run's success. Love it!
Did you hear about the DLC in the works for both Rebirth and Wrath of the Lamb?
I also have the same opinion. I find the original binding of isaac soundtracks much better than rebirth. they're just much more powerful and atmospheric, but hey, that's only an opinion.
I agree, I prefer the soundtrack and also the graphics from the first one. I did wright a longer comment explaining why but then I hit back and deleted it all, like a big derp. SO instead you get this because sod it.
@TheDemonicDude I felt the same way about the graphics at first because I generally think the pixel artstyle is worse than hand drawn, but after seeing a lot of gameplay of rebirth and looking back at vanilla isaac I realize how much worse it looked. It might be because it was made in flash or something, i cant really explain it. I feel that the vanilla soundtrack is better than rebirth though
