This place had like one thing you needed to pick up, then you just leave... a bunch of parts felt unfinished or empty near the end. I've been making a cold vgm playlist since winter is coming; maybe I should start a beach/summer one too.
I really wish I didn't sell this game. :/ Always gave off an amazing EarthBound-esque feel.
did anyone else inexplicably lose their games from their childhood -.- I would so love to play this but have no idea where it went.. along with probably over 100$ worth of games. heh
You could use an emulator (I recommend no$gba for 2D games and Desmume for 3D games), but nothing beats gripping a handheld on the couch. Instead of loosing my games, I accidentally sold off a few good ones... As well as loose Mario Party Advance during a move. It's gotta be in a box somewhere...

I had this game... started to play it, and then, after I was only a few hours into it, I accidentally left my DS Lite and about 20 games in a carrying case overnight at my job (at a restaurant). When I came in the next morning, they were all gone. I checked with the managers to see if somebody turned it in or if it was in the back room, but it wasn't. I'm guessing somebody from the night cleaning crew stole it. The worst part is, I still have all of the plastic boxes/cases that the games came in, along with the instruction manuals... constantly reminding me of that fateful day... and also reminding me that I have to replace many of them at some point. I don't think I'll truly ever be over the incident until I do.
@ZombifiedDuder sorry to hear about that, buddy! If it makes you feel better, I once left about €1400 (like $2000 now) on a bank counter because I didn't want to wait in the queue. Only noticed I'd lost the bag about a week later, and the back were zero help... Ouch.
I love this game!
Today's been a cold day, reminding me that winter is unfortunately coming, so I thought I'd upload a nice energetic summer theme to counter the inevitable. Contact's soundtrack has a very unique feel to it, just like the game itself. I'd really love for Grasshopper to revisit this IP as it had a ton of good ideas, but the chance of that happenning is less than slim.
If you wanna get pumped for winter just listen to some skyrim and brave that blizzard like a dragonborn viking!
