Yes! These three games are great! I have many memories of playing them. An apartment full of my friends, all huddled together in pure fear. Alone, it's even worse! Classic survival horror series.

Such a memorable track. Lovely use of orchestra instruments. It has the rural feel of the village with the epicness of Fatal Frame's story, like you're about to load up your saved game ready to kick some ass and save Mayu.
I've expected RE4. Damn, I'm always (positively) suprised by your choices !

Yep, this is my favorite horror game of all time, the main reason being that I've never been more scared playing a video game than with Fatal Frame II. I remember a particular moment where I played a 1 hour session before having to stop because I actually felt too stressed out, I was so relieved to reach a save point and I turned off the console immediately. The claustrophobic environments, ghosts that can pop out anywhere and anytime, having to go into first person camera to hurt the ghosts, all mixed with an extremely unsettling sound design. The gameplay is very fun as well. I love how the various ghosts (some of them recurring) have backstories: Broken Neck Woman, Fallen Woman, Woman in Box, Sunken Woman, Rope Man, etc.... very memorable. They all have their own "battle theme" as well, just listen to the tracks from the ghosts I just mentioned, all very unsettling. It didn't help that I played this game with lights turned off and headphones on, but to me that's how all horror games should be played. This is the theme that plays when you're saving, one of the few times you can feel safe.
Have you played the remake of Fatal Frame 2 on the Wii?
Agreed 100%, this is also by far my fave horror game. The Falling Woman battle actually made me feel physically sick with fear and nervous unease. I've never had that reaction to any other game before or since.
I wish I found Fatal Frame 2 as scary as you have. It's hard to be scared when the game is full of moe and kawaii.
Hah, well, that is true, NukeA6; Mio was quite kawaii, Still, props to SupraDarky for having two Fatal Frame games, Dead Space, and the Resident Evil remake on his top ten list of horror games.
