Not enough FPS games today are as creative the first two Turok games. I miss that.
The 3rd level actually has the best music imo.

The music in Turok Evolution was awesome too, even if the game wasn't very good. (Still loved it as a kid, first M-rated game I ever played)

I played so much Turok 1 back in the day, even a decade or so after not playing the game I can go back and still have a blast and still remember most of the secrets. Pump action shotgun for life. I loved the music in the game. Too bad Turok 2 didn't hold up quite as well. It had some nice music, but honestly I think the game was a bit too much for the N64 to handle. Fun, but choppy, and the levels just never seemed to end. The weapons were amazing though.Â
Turok 2 remastered today... id buy it

It's all about launching nukes at flame breathing, laser eye shooting cyborg tyrannosaurs.
I wish I was sitting in with the developers when they thought up that boss.
@Chad Serrant LOL!! Absolutely. This whole series was so great... never took itself too seriously to allow madness like that. Fought him in the level with the bone-club cannibals, if I remember right...

I love listening to all the music you've chosen for this list. I started listening to the entire series a few weeks ago, and I'm already at 614. Only 1025 left to go to catch up to today's update. Your list has been so helpful getting me through my endless hours of homework everyday, and it has made me aware of so many new game series that I had never realized existed or excepted. Thank you for making this list and keeping it going for over seven(!) years. You really give video games the justice they deserve as an art form. If I may make some suggestions, if you haven't put them in your list already: - Dragon Quest IX: Boss Fight, Final Boss Fight, Flying in the Starflight Express - Bravely Default: Ancheim, Florem, Hartschild, Enemy Dungeon Theme, Visitor, Signs of an Enemy Invasion, Asterisk Battle Theme, Crystal Boss Battle Theme - Bowser's Inside Story: Final Boss Theme - Dream Team: Dream Battle Theme, Boss Battle Theme Again, these are just suggestions, but please keep them in mind.
I think he's already uploaded the Bowser's Inside story final boss theme.

I had so much fun with this game and it's sequel, so much fun i loved the puzzle platform FPS gameplay.
Have you heard the songs of the first three stages of Turok 2 Seeds of Evil? They are perfect, I live listening to them until today. Turok declined after 2, but had a very good ending with one last game a little while ago ..

turok 2 was insane, a remastered hd would still hold up to todays bland fps's.
Today's upload brought to you by SupraDarky's nostalgia. Easily the most tribal theme in the list so far. Darren Mitchell expertly composed a soundtrack consisting of mostly percussions and a couple synths (and some random roars that remind me of anything but a dinosaur) and make it sound memorable. This game is actually one of my favorite FPS of all time, I loved the setting, atmosphere, gameplay (the series having some of the most memorable weapons ever) and also had way too much fun playing with some of the cheats like Big Heads or Tiny Enemies. It's one of those cases where I know the sequel is better in almost every way, but my heart's with the original.
SuperDarky's nostalgia should bring more music.

Yes, I had been waiting for you to grace the list with anything Turok! I was personally hoping for Port of Adia from Turok 2 but hey, this works too. This is a series that needs to be revisited, and not in the way the 2008 game handled it. It is because of that game that Turok is dead >:( There needs to be a resurgence of platform based FPS games, instead of Rehashed Linear Advanced Military Simulator 2050 every year.
And speaking of cheats, I still remember the big cheat off by heart! NTHGTHDGDCRTDTRK Â ;)

I know exactly how you feel. Though, Turok 2 on PC is like...a masterpiece in my eyes. The first one holds that special place in my heart though.
