Just about all the music from this series is memorable one of those series you wish kept going, when it made the NDS switch that's when I pushed away!
I have always had an interest in playing the other Megaman games, my favorite being "Megaman Network Transmission" for Gamecube. I never beat but I really want to someday...

This series has some great music. My personal favorites are Battle Spirit from BN2 and the Hero track from BN6.
This one and Great Battlers from MMBN3 are my faves :3

I will admit that I'm not very good at the battle network games but at least the games have some good songs such as this one.

Incredibly fun series. Very underrated
From favorite to least favorite, I'd go: 3, 6, 2, 5, 4, 1. I'd put a pretty huge gap between the first and last three, though. 3, 6, and 2 are significantly better imo.
What people don't like about 5? It ended up being... my favorite, I think.
@Maurice Chagall Just to clarify, I didn't dislike 5 at all. I liked it a lot, and I wouldn't have beaten it twice if I didn't. I guess that, when it comes down to it, i'm just not a huge fan of the soul unison system. It felt very limiting to me: sacrificing a chip (also meaning you only get to choose 4 chips that turn), and then getting a form that only lasts for 3 turns (and correct me if i'm wrong, but then that soul can't be used anymore in that battle), and they made it better in 5, but 4's soul unisons were pretty weak.
@wertq1111 Same, liked 5 a lot but it wasn't my favorite. I did feel like 5 had some of the catchiest music, though! Whenever I heard the boss theme while playing, I just got so pumped. xD
@wertq1111 I also feel that your enjoyment of MMBN5 is directly related to how much you enjoy the Liberation Missions. I loved them, but, I understand why other people wouldn't like them. Also, it seems that people liked Team Colonel more than Team Protoman. Which is understandable, because Team Colonel is way cooler even if they're worse gameplay-wise barring a couple of gamebreakers.
After playing 2 and 3, 4 was a let down. Also blue version has Bowlman, the best man.
Always wanted to get into this series
My favorite game in the series so far, but I've yet to play 4+. I played this game quite a long time ago, so this is another series I really need to get back to. Big fan! I really like the atmosphere in these games and the battle system is one of my favorites in an RPG.

Ahhhhhhhh yes I remember this game I need to play more of the games in the series. Maybe I should pick up BN6 sometime soon, I hear it's one of the other really good entries in the series...
Then you really need to play 4+, this being the first BN game I play, let me tell you 4,5 and 6 are better in my opnion, both music and gameplay (not by much) .
@Richard Rodriguez Gonna have to strongly disagree on 5, the ideas were good but terribly executed. Also Team Protoman was ridiculously lame compared to Team Colonel in terms of power.
4's emotion system combined with the dark chips is really good. If you like SRPGs I'd give 5 a shot cause it has a lot of elements of one in it while still have Battle Networks combat. Avoid 6.
My personal opinion is that 4 is amazingly bad, as it lacks a real depth or good story, 5 is debatable, 6 manages to recapture some good elements

Of the last three, I actually only finished 6. Which was pretty good, it's between 6 and 2 for my favorite of the series after 3. The song here, I might add, is also called NETWORK IS SPREADING because all the computer area songs were in capslock for 1-3, go figure.
I liked almost every MMBN I played, except the cursed 4. I know people are saying 5 is weak, but I don't really understand that. I love 5, my favourite BN. 6 was... okay, I guess?
The only thing I hate about this game is when you need to find that rare chip for the kid in the hospital...ughhhh
Megaman Battle Chip Challenge is probably the worst spinoff-spinoff game I've played in my life. Maybe I'll get into the BN series someday...
@Mdude360 Even Battle Chip Challenge was... I don't know, I ended up liking it, for some reason.
@TrainerAlec 4 also had a terrible music change; they tried to swap music engines along with the artstyle, and the music did not turn out well at all.
Battle Network 6 is by far the best game that came out after the first 3. I enjoyed it almost as much as I did 2 and 3, and it was a fantastic end to the series.
Have to agree, 6 was also my favorite. As for internet themes, I would say 1 and 2 probably had the best.
