let me rephrase what I had said, Nintendo NEEDS to make an entirely new StarFox game, I'm really sick of all the remakes lately, on that new StarFox game, beat it on the highest difficulty Expert/Gold and unlock the full game of StarFox 2 as a mini game. and also in the new game you should have parts where you play as team StarWolf and switch off between them in the story missions.
assault needs a wii u port with online multiplayer and use the controllers as the screens so you don't have screen watching. starfox 2 needs to be RELEASED!

lol, indeed ! I actually had to listen to the voices slowed down to figure that out XD Its funny how in sf64 with the "lylatian" voices, or in command, or in sf2, how the gibberish sounds bad. In those games its just the same sound at mostly the same pitch. Those in SF snes are just insanely detailed compared to those ! I even suspect they're based on musical chords. I haven't figured out how chords, scales, key, etc works though... But there's clearly harmony in how they sound.

u chose course 3, a good choice to take venom by surprise. i luv the hard path so much except for sector z, i fuckin hate that stage the rest tho is epic especially the great commander fights on venom & fortuna & macbeth r my fav planet stages. however my fav stage of the whole game is space armada.

Ah, the days of paying thro the nose for games on import to get the game sonner. Kind of miss those days, with all these world wide releases they have these days. Fisrt and only time i payed £60 for a game. The Yen was very weak at the time, hence the high price !!

This was the start of a journey, every time you started the game, no matter which route, this would always greet you; a perfect opener, immense track, sets the fast pace of the game (for its era) and welcomes you into one of the best games you'll ever play. And I feel sorry for the young new gamers, ignorant to such genius of production, that they are born into an era where novel, original ideas are less favourable than sure-fire money-making sequels and film tie-ins. Legend game.

@Flodder450 While this statement isn't innacurate, the reason developers focus on graphics is because that's what the market wants. Moronic young gamers are willing to suffer terribly uninspired or repetitive gameplay because it's "OMG NEW AWESOME". Halo is a great example of this. Everything Halo did, I can think of 10 PC FPS games that did it better, and did it first, but Halo is what the young dumb gamers of today flocked to. tl;dr it's the kids' faults, not the developers.

PRESS Z OR R TWICE! Oh wait wrong game lol amazing theme tune nevertheless. Anyone else notice how game music has something that seems to delve much deeper into us, beyond just enjoying the sounds. I think the nostalgia makes this so much more incredible, as if our minds are subconsciously reliving the joy we had playing these games.

Star Fox 64 was the high point in the series in my opinion. That N64 Rumble Pack was some high tech serious business back in the day. They need a new Star Fox with only Arwing levels just like how it used to be.

Gosh. This brings back memories... Starfox was a great game. I think the later games (where Starfox was out of his fighter plane) kind of ruined it though.

i got hyped up the first time i heard this on super smash bros brawl, the SNES starfox was the best game next to LOZ a link to the past.
To this day, I still get excited whenever I see the word "SCRAMBLE", even on a breakfast menu.
Everyone loved this game. I don't care who you are. Even if you couldn't get the hang of it, you always played co-pilot to your friend's older brother who had mastered it. You would watch the whole game screaming in his ear, "OH GET THAT GUY!!! OH THAT ONE GOT YOU! USE THE BOMB IN ALL OF ITS FX CHIP GRAPHICS GLORY, I DON'T CARE IF IT HAS THE SAME EXPLOSION FROM THE SUPER BOMB IN SUPER METROID!" I wish they would take this franchise back to it's roots! Pilots don't fight with sticks!
also i remember how this game was geting into the 3d gaming age. it has 2d figures but some stuff is in 3d. and this game had awesome graphics for its time even tho the snes had only 256 collors to work with

This track always got me in the starfox mood. I love the opening sequence, blitzing down the launch bay, blasting from the opening alongside your team mates, and an instant status report before taking down some Venom craft. Fantastic.
