absolutely love the katamari soundtracks and this tune has always really been one of my most cheered tracks in the original, thanks for reminding me it still has its charm :)
I don't think I've ever seen another game come up with such a good pop/jazz soundtrack.. The Katamari franchise has always been fantastic for it!

For some reason this always seemed to be THE most (and probably only) overlooked piece in the original Katamari's soundtrack. Which is a shame, because it's smooth as hell and, as a few others have said, refreshing.
My second favourite track after Lonely Rolling Star. Never even played the game, i just know the soundtrack really well and love it :)
If you haven't already, play Star Fox 64. The game has an excellent and underrated soundtrack.

One of the more serious Katamari songs, but just as solid and enjoyable. There haven't been too many jazzy tracks on this list eventhough I love the genre, so this feels refreshing. It's the Jazz Festival here in Montreal right now, it's fitting! I haven't started working on the #1600 video yet, I know the series that will be represented but I'm still not sure which track I'll go with. I'll try to finish it all up in a timely manner.

I'd say the jazziest song in the game is Que Sera Sera. This is a great song, but I never would have interpreted it as jazz.
It is very refreshing. The mix of silly, upbeat songs and the more "serious" ones like this are what makes the Katamari series' music so memorable.
