This is one of my personal favorites!
So much nostalgia of booting Soul silver up for the first time, then playing platinum, just, God dang I love Sinnoh to death, best of the regions and generations of Pokemon.
Hahah there are some notes at the begining that remind me of Sowing the seeds of love (though I recognize they are not the same)

Don't think of heard this from Brawl. Awesome sauce. =) Thinking back on the D/P/Plat, Gen4 was the generation I came back into pokemon, so this song brings back all kinds of great memories. Thanks for the upload Supra! ^_^

Not really a song for fighting, but still lovely. One of the few memorable route themes in that game in my opinion. Platinum still is my most played Pokémon game. I think I stopped playing it at 649 hours. It was my first game where I started playing multiplayer and paying attention to natures, IVs, all that stuff. So yeah, this is pretty nostalgic.

"One, 21 Guns Lay down your arms Give up the fight..." I dunno. The first part of this song in D/P/Pt and Brawl reminded me of that Green Day song...

I like this track, but I think I prefer the original Diamond and Pearl version.

I really liked the original theme, the SSBB remix sounds as good IMO, it just feels like a modern version of the old song to me. When I think about it, it's a bit surprising this is just the second SSBB entry on this list, I really love some of the remixes from this game.
Sounds like a good theme for a soap opera, or one of those more down to earth British sitcoms.

@Dan Buck I was referring specifically to the ones that were down to earth like "As Time Goes By", which is why I specifically said "Down to earth sitcoms" specifically.

This is such a weird song for a fighting game, but still great nevertheless.
It suits it perfectly in my opinion, it may sound weird just by hearing but when you hear it while you're playing smash, you'd be surprised how well it fits the action.

The beginning sounds like a song by The Beatles or someone, it sounds familiar. I love pokemon though so I got no gripes.
Absolutely, I was going to comment on that but I wasn't sure if it was just me. It's also the reason why this somehow reminds me of something you could hear in Mother 1 or Earthbound, since the music from those games were heavily inspired by artists like the Beatles. Funny coincidence that Shogo Sakai who arranged this was Mother 3's composer too!

This game's soundtrack is like 12 hours, hard to pick one song. Glad they remixed one of my favorite songs from Diamond (that middle school nostalgia, man.) nice upload. I'm extremely excited for the next entry, I've been brushing up on my Melee skills. My hype cannot be contained.
Pleasant arrangement of Route 209 originally from Pokemon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum. I'm far from the biggest Smash fan so I can't say I'm super excited for the next entry, but I do like to keep an eye on the new challengers that are being announced every other month. Mega Man being in it was the highlight so far. I do expect to buy it though, it's always a good time when inviting friends over!

My favorite thing about Brawl is just how many great songs from various franchises you can access and all of the fantastic remixes there are. I do hope Smash 4 doesn't lack in the sound department!
I wish I was a bigger Nintendo fan (well, even BIGGER than I already am) so that I could appreciate that more.
