Loved the TR 1-2-3 atmosphere and music. I remember when my PSX was suddenly seeking on the CD and a song started, which meant I reached a key point in the level. I remember one specific week in my childhood, the week after I asked my parents for a PSX (instead of a N64, changed at the last minute when I tried twisted metal 2 at a demo booth) we went to a video store that was far away of our home since we did not have any PSX games to rent nearer. The 2 games I rented, without having read any reviews or heard about it, were Tomb Raider and Resident Evil. Talk about a coincidence, renting 2 huge franchise starters. Let me just say that this particular week, there was lack of sleep and I was completely captivated by those 2 games. Oh the nostalgia.

Always loved this little theme, I wish it was longer. I really wish Nathan McCree would still compose for the Tomb Raider games, loved his style. Speaking of which, last year's Tomb Raider certainly looks good and I'll be playing it someday, but it seems like it strayed away from the series' roots and took inspiration from Uncharted. Any thoughts on that game from longtime TR fans?
TR1 is one of my favourite games of all time. It's ambience, dark music, secrets... is just amazing. Sadly, the last TR are really bad. They lost their roots and now are just casual games with no difficulty at all. Just prepared scenes all the time, with QTE actions and no exploration.
Think of the latest TR as a mix of Uncharted and Metroid. Uncharted with the whole cinematic action and shooting mechanics, and Metroid with the whole exploration and being able to backtrack when you get new equipment and weapons to find new paths. It's a fun game, definitely different from the earlier games though.
latest tomb raider,it was fun,it was pretty,music was basically the same motif over and over i might have missed a bit because of the action,but didn't get a good impression of it.It certainly had nothing like this and the original Tomb Raider Theme.
