I hope so much, that the new Red Dead gets such atmospheric music as this one got. Even though I'm not the biggest fan, I still wonder if the waiting is worth it. A cool, Single Player Open-World game is what i would want.

i really want to like this game, i really do!. But i cant handle sandbox games. And i could handle the horseriding. Im dissapointed in myself :(
Red Dead Redemption... probably one of my favourite games of last generation. The experience alone was worth the price. Funny how GTA 5, a game that came out 3,5 years after Red Dead Redemption, is still inferior in nearly every aspect (gameplay, atmosphere, soundtrack, characters, scenario etc)
If you like the music in Red Dead... look up Ennio Morricone. Red Dead does a great job of copying the both the look and sound of spaghetti westerns, and Morricone was the composer behind the sound of such classics as "Fistful of Dollars" and "The Good, The Bad and the Ugly."
I could listen to "The Ecstasy of Gold" on repeat for hours.

Fucking love this game. Finished it about a month ago. And it was so god damn beautiful. Not to mention the soundtrack. Fucking top. Really enjoyed my time with this game. I would like to play he multiplayer, but it doesn't really let me connect, and it's shutting down in a month anyways. Even though I only played it recently, this is definitely a game I'll look back at fondly. It's also a shame 70% of the people who own this game never completed because DAT ENDING. This game is awesome.

I thought this game had the typical Rockstar flaws you can find in their GTA games, but the memorable setting, the story and the horse riding made for one of my favorite games of its generation. The main flaws I always find in Rockstar games are filler missions that artificially extend the game's length with either boring or redundant objectives. Kind of like what you find in some anime series with their filler episodes (or the equivalent of a Kamehameha taking 30 minutes to charge in DBZ). I'm very excited for an eventual sequel to this game, though you have to wonder if they'll be able to keep it fresh if they decide to go with the same setting.
They probably will go with the same setting, with a new map and plot of course.
I think they will, Rockstar always finds a way. I doubt it will follow the Marston's though, like Red Dead Revolver and all of the GTA games, Rockstar doesn't seem too fond of staying with the same cast for any longer than necessary.
@Vulcan Spectre they could make a sequel when Marston was in the gang or, what I want, is a game based around Landon Ricketts.
