I grew up with this movie. I thought it was cool. But as for the game, I wish Taito had the rights for it for all games, including an arcade game that is a beat em' up.

I heard the movie was a ripoff of Who Framed Roger Rabbit but it's more accurate to say that WFRR ripped off Ralph Bakshi's films. Hey Good Lookin' (1982) was supposed to be a live-action feature with some cartoon characters interacting with the actors but it ended up being 100% animation. Roger Rabbit came out in 1988, possibly as a result of Robert Zemekis pulling an Antz on Bakshi.

I happen to like "Cool World," yep, I'm a fan. It's not a terrible movie, but at the same time, it's not a great movie either, I've looked at other playthroughs of the SNES game elsewhere on YouTube and it definitely looks playable if not enjoyable. James Rolfe (a.k.a. the Angry Video Game Nerd) should definitely review both the film and it's games. All in favor say 'I.'

Didn't know there was a cool world game. Despite what many people say, I kinda liked the movie with its quirky style. Nice bgm though ^^
I always found it funny when they made nintendo and SNES games based off of movies that were inappropriate for children. yes the average gamer today has an age of about 29 years. but back then it was much lower.

Not a fan of this movie at all with its weak story and animation (it's all about Who Framed Roger Rabbit!). SNES games by Ocean based on movies usually means there's going to be some great music and in this list, usually composed by Dean Evans. The game itself seems fairly average.
Never heard of the movie or the game. I really like Dean Evans. He really has great range despite having limited hardware. He's actually one of my more favorite composers on limited hardware..
The movie was actually supposed to be have a much different and darker story, but the studio forced Ralph Bakshi into making a third-rate Roger Rabbit clone.
Never played the game? It's actually completely terrible. But I did like the movie...
This is a nice track and all, but the main menu theme tune is better imo.
I've been playing the game itself recently. It is an average movie tie-in game, but it's also quite challenging and tricky at the same time.
