The soundtrack is a masterpiece. The game is not. This is one of my favorite songs from the whole Silent Hill series. It's incredible.

It is a scary mind-fucking game. All of the Franchise is. The genre is "Horror/Survival" Quite literally you're taking the lead roll as the main character in one huge horror movie. And most of the time, it's better to run from the monsters than fight them. I've only played the first one, and it's an AWESOME game. I want to play the others so bad. >.<

All the comments about how scary and intensely mindfucking the game is makes me not want to play it :( BUT THE MUSIC'S SO NICE ARGHHH. Ive never played Silent Hill before, only the music got me hooked like bee to honey

some of the moments were decently scary, but the dialogue and the pyramid head cocksucking made the game hard to take seriously. seriously, third party developers. not everyone who likes silent hill wishes he were in every game. it kind of defeats the very idea of silent hill

It does fit perfectly. It plays when you first take control of your character and walk your way to the town of Silent Hill, during the night. It's impressive!
