Proximity mine chaos still best deathmatch fun I ever had! Though ours became a standstill when we started proxi mining the proxi mine boxes haha

I played that game soooo much with my brother ! He was N64, I was Playstation. But we had a hell of a time with Goldeneye, for sure.

Not sure if you already know, but Blast Corps and Goldeneye (the game anyway) were both made by Rareware, and the music to both games were composed by Graeme Norgate.

Just FYI, I'm fairly certain this special top 30 list is based on top GAMES not necessarily based on the music. Tho with Supra surely the music will play a part in his picks to some degree ;)
Fond memories of trying to play through the game with all sorts of weird 007 settings, getting the best times and unlocking cheats, etc. One of the games I've sunk the most time into multiplayer-wise.
Proximity Mines in the Complex is pure carnage
Bit surprised Cradle hasn't made this list yet, but this was a good choice nonetheless. One thing I liked about this game's OST is how the industrial sound effects used in the tracks reflected those used in the movie. Definitely a grittier, colder Bond score.
If I had someone to play with I'd buy the version for the wii. I loved playing this game with my brother D=

You just can't have an all time best VGM list without goldeneye. I'll expect more rareware games to end up on your list :)

Got to meet and win a prize from Grant Kirkhope a few weeks ago. The guy is stellar and can talk about music for days.
Did you know the multiplayer was thrown in last minute? we may have never had the great multiplayer Golden eye gave us. It was literally thrown in within like 2 weeks of the game being completed or something like that.

Speaking of influential games, Goldeneye is definitely one of those. I spent a ridiculous amount of time playing through the single player campaign over and over again and ended up knowing all the levels perfectly. I spent even more time playing split screen multiplayer and it's some of the best time I've ever had playing with friends while sharing a couch. We'd especially love playing Proximity Mines only matches.
Back from the small vacation and so starts the countdown of my 30 favorite games of all time! I think you'll be surprised by the absence of some very high profile/influential games. It was hard to seperate what I think are the best games ever, and which ones are my personal favorites (there is a difference, mainly involving nostalgia). And remember... I was a Nintendo kid growing up. ;)
