+Shujin Preach it! Shinobi III's soundtrack is amazing! My favorite track from that game HAS to be "Ninja Soul"!

@Vordox I've always thought the same thing, and I'm also pretty sure Natsume has involvement with Abadox. Fun fact, the same composer for Super C worked on Abadox's soundtrack
This is spectacular. I listen to these types of BGM and try and figure out how they keep the limited audio chip from sounding flat. Its pretty amazing what one can do with limited resources.

It's got that funky feel, like CastleVania and Contra games of the era.

Both games were released by Natsume, and yes, it's the same composers for both games!
This game's OST is incredible, just like every other NES Natsume games. Great choice!

Pretty good cover too. You can tell it's from the 80s because there's no backlit soldier walking away from us looking over his shoulder.
I never played this game as a kid, but when I heard this song later when trying this game out on an emulator, I loved it. Really great song.
I honestly think that Mario 3 is still the best 2D platformer ever.

The NES is 30 years old today! I associate this console with my first gaming years, mostly when I was 4-10 years old. That and the Gameboy, of course. I don't even think there's a single NES game in my top 20 of all time, but there were tons of classics that paved the way for refined games/sequels on later consoles like the SNES. Huge nostalgia factor as well, just looking at the graphics or hearing NES music is enough for me to jump back in those days. This ninja action platformer is great!
