Easily one of my favorite N64 games. I imagine that title and box art didn't speak to most, but the gameplay was fun and the dialogue was funny. Between this and DBZ airing on cartoon network (Toonami) for the first time is when I started getting into anime.
really loved this game when i was 10. was a solid adventure game for the n64 before zelda. music was quite good.
a remake would actually be awesome. or better yet. a new game.

For an N64 3D Platformer, this was one game that truly had it all. Graphics, exploration, large worlds, diverse, dungeons, and multiple methods of battle. The sheer variety that game had to offer arguably rivals even the two Zelda games on the same console!
So many happy memories.. Everytime I feel caught up or lost, I'm so thankful for good childhood music like this to pull me back toward myself.

Entire OST for this game is perfect. Just like everyone else is saying, one of the best games on the console.
I really regret never giving this game a chance. I was not renting it because I didn't like the Ninja's face on the cover. lol
this game is hard to find D: i remember seeing it all the time at my local vg store 10 years ago and i never thought of trying it >.<
The robot part always stuck with me, that and going into the stores and eating all the colorful food or only having enough for the shoddy room at the inn.
Did you ever play Goemon's Great Adventure on the N64? It contained some of the best music on the 64, in my opinion - all the castle themes were appropriately ridiculous(ly awesome.) Of course, it wasn't exactly Mystical Ninja style, but 2.5D platforming was something that I enjoyed at the time.

I'd have to say this is easily among my all-time favorite games. Everything about it was great, the level design, the characters, and the music. The robot battles were awesome, too bad there was only 4 battles in total. And the 4 character dynamic really made it stand out as a game. Thanks for posting the song, probably my second favorite tune in the whole game, next to the gourmet submarine castle theme. Brings back good memories just hearing this.
I totally remember this song and I loved the game. It was a real experience and something i don't think I've ever played thats replicated it apart from possibly Opoona. It's a very cool game and more people need it! A new version or maybe a 3DS remake?
How'd you feel about the sequel to this game?
I remember begging my parents to buy this game for me at Toys R Us for 74.99. It took me years to beat it because I never bought a controller pak until I borrowed it from someone. I still love the music~
I remember this game being one of the first i played that required the n64 memory pak. So because of that I ended up renting it and beating it about 10 hours later. Fun times.
I remember loving the graphics as a kid. I don't remember this song but the cover is so nostalgic, I always used to rent this game when I saw it in the blockbuster
One of my favorite games on the console. Probably in my Top 5 N64 games not made by Nintendo. I'd love a new Goemon game in the same style! The gameplay was very nice with its mix of adventuring and platforming using the 4 different characters. Plus it had first person giant robot battles, so many fun memories!
