The factory theme on Genesis is actually pretty cool. The rest of the OST is just kinda meh, though.

There's an easter egg in Overwatch about The Lost Vikings. On the Hollywood map, you can read their names on the Walk of Fame (or whatever it's called, i don't know).

i love this game its kinda underrated but the platforms and objectives r soo awesome and the game is really funny in characters and powers like the farting guy. Love this game

It has that r & b feel to it.
I remember those 3 guys got a cameo in WoW Classics in the Ulduar (or is it Uldaman, Uldu-something?) dungeon. They get aggro und you have to kill them to get the key.

This is also one of Blizzard's earliest games, and the vikings can be found in one of WoW's dungeons as a cameo! You even get to play with them in your party as of Cataclysm.
They were actaully called Silicon & synapse back then.

Such a fun game! This song is great, but I actually like the Amiga version better.
Yepp, and you'll get a little funny conversation, when you often die in one level but one viking get to the finish... ;) If all 3 come to the finish then you'll go to the next level. If 1 or 2 come to the finish you can play the level again without losing a continue. If all 3 die then you lose a continue. Pretty fair.
This is a game where you can be a viking in a spacecraft? This and the music is enough to sell it to me.
I loved this game. Perfect balance of Puzzles and good platformer action. Getting used to the 3 vikings and their stregnths and weaknesses made it interesting. This and the song for the Space Ship levels were always my favs!
Interplay was flippin' unstoppable back in the day. This game, its sequel, the Star Trek point-and-clicks, Battle Chess, the original Fallout games, and if you were inclined toward a certain sense of humor, Boogerman and Clayfighter ...... lot of good times there.
It's weird how presentation can either just kill or sell a game...

Wow this is informative, it explains why they named one of the key Terran Air units The Viking in Starcraft 2. There is also a mini game in Wings of Liberty called The Lost Viking.

Lost Vikings is frickin awesome! One of the first games, maybe even the first I played on the PC.

I remember watching the "16-Bit Gems" review episode of this game by CotGW, and it looked like fun. Might try it out some day.
When I was a kid (like, 10-12), I was actually turned off of FF5 because there were more girls than boys, and turned off of FF6 at first because the main character you first play as was a girl. In fact, I was even turned off of Chrono Trigger because the three main characters were Chrono, Marle, and Lucca; 2 girls > one boy. Now, I consider them to be some of the best games, once I gave them a chance. I thought I was open minded as a kid, but looking at that now, eeh...

I had a friend who loved this game and would show it to me when I was at his house (I was about 7-8 years old) and I really didn't like it. Why? Because I thought the boxart was ugly and I didn't like the vikings. Yep, that's reason enough to hate a game when you're a kid. This game is actually a classic puzzle platformer where you have 3 vikings and control one at a time to get around the levels. It's made by Sillicon&Synapse who later became Blizzard.
