The entire soundtrack to Far Cry 3:Blood Dragon is a fantastic creation, and If you grew up around 80's movies, it'll be all the more awesome :)
Then I know you would appreciate the hints to a whole lot of 80's and early 90's action movies in the soundtrack XD You've got to go look it up on Youtube! It'll be worth it~

This is awesome! Never played a Far Cry game, but this is exactly the kind of ace music games need more of nowadays.
This plays during the credits, twice. The first time it's the 2nd or 3rd song, the other one is at the very end, briefly.
Took me around 7 hours to finish everything.
Someone extend this to 6 or 7 minutes please!

No trust me, tottaly could of made of extra mini-game with the arcade thing they did as a joke. Like do more extra's it just seems they made all of these funny jokes and I didn't have enough time to enjoy all of its features due to not having much things to do.

It's Electronic music, probably synthpop if I had to give it a subgenre. If you like this, seek out Tangerine Dream, Vangelis (especially his Blade Runner soundtrack), Depeche Mode, Yellow Magic Orchestra, Kraftwerk, and if you want some newer stuff, Ulrich Schnauss and Kavinsky.
This would have fit nicely into the soundtrack to Drive, as well. Thanks for sharing!

Hell yeah. I am loving this game. It feels like they made Kyle Reese into a cyborg.
Its a DLC. DLC stands for downloadable content which is what Blood Dragon is. The only thing that's different is that its a stand alone meaning you do not have to have Far Cry 3 to play this. But it uses the same engine and uses everything the same in Far Cry 3 to make a different content than Far Cry 3 but its still a DLC.

you might as well just throw up the whole soundtrack to this game. Still not sure why they threw the Far Cry 3 title on there. Maybe just to get people to download it? For it's namesake, I mean Blood Dragon on its own might not mean anything to anyone. Anyway, bad ass game. Glad to see you wasted no time putting music up from it

It terms of the game itself, it's merely the same game with a Tron coat of paint and borrows the style of Double Dragon Neon.

Personally I prefer the term TotalBiscuit uses; expandalone. It's a game expansion that stands on its own as a completely separate experience from the the original game, but still using many of the games original source materials.
I'd call this a stand-alone DLC, like a lot of websites are doing (or Far Cry's wikia). It even retains the "Far Cry 3" in its title. Additional bonus points to Ubisoft for not requiring the original Far Cry 3, for sure!

I LOVE the style of the game. So awesome.
It was sadly kind of short though.
Now this is the kind of DLC I like to see, not just some additional and boring levels because the devs wanted to make some easy money in a lazy way. You just have to love the 80s vibe, the aesthetics and the soundtrack are awesome while the story sounds completely cheesy. Bonus points for having Michael Biehn too!
