technically they are doing better (as they have sold more copies of their Kinect games than any of there others) but..yea in my eyes they are dead to me.
Please...PLEASE....if any dev is looking at this. Please make an updated version of Battletoads Arcade for PSN/XBL. It's one of my top 3 most wanted games that doesn't exist.
Retro Studios is old Iguana Entertainment, developer of Turok franchise on the Nintendo 64.

It's "bland"? I disagree, it's "raw" if anything. It has a steady rhythm with a proggressive rise, not to mention the "haste" it's giving too, Fitting for the game.
hmmmm, not as good as expected. Reminds me of the somewhat bland music from Doom 1. A bit of atmosphere, but redundant and uninspired.
They whent from Rare to Legendary !! It wont be easy to find another one as good them. Droprate is like 0.00001% :(
Yes, because even before they were bought by Microsoft, Nintendo picked clean the talented developers that worked at Rare. Now a lot of them work at Retro Studios.
This one sounds very raw really. Like deep depressing, struggle and raw feeling. Not bad.

He's contributed to ocremix a couple times. Unfortunately that's all I've seen of him recently :(

Never played Battletoads arcade. I did see it once at the University here in town but didn't get the chance to play it.

Awesome. Rare music in general has and will always be some of my absolute faves! Whether it's David Wise, Grant Kirkhope, Robin Beanland, Eveline Fisher and who ever else has been doing work for them! Always fantastic!

This track by David Wise could be straight from a Donkey Kong Country game. He composed the DKC2 soundtrack right after this one. Sounds like Krook's March (Toxic Tower).
