That's a great way to think!! I guess if we all think of it as a singleplayer title with constant multiplayer capability (like Demon's/Dark Souls), we actually have more than we paid for, considering all the updates they are releasing and will still release. Hahah, that's a good perspective. (:
A very inspiring gaming music theme song that reminds me of all the Final Fantasy games or games that are similar to it. Which made me feel like I am a hero, here to save the world from evil and bring justice to the world and peace of mind. Thank you so much for the upload and keep up the good work. =D
When I got to 80, I switched over from PvE and started playing WvWvW mode. WvWvW is a lot of fun when you get a small group of organized players together. Even the larger groups can be fun sometimes if you are evenly matched against your opponents.
Guild Wars 2 is a descent MMO with a lot of good and only a little bad to the game, but I think the music is one of the games strongest aspect. I consistently find myself leveling at a new zone to stop turn up the music and listen to the music for a minute.

On the same boat here. My guess is that we are seeing this wrong. Instead of an mmo with subscription where there must be some incentive for you to keep playing(and paying), here you just buy it one time and complete it like a regular game, with no strings attached. It's more of a single player rpg that happens to have a consistent multiplayer world.
Good to see GW2 making your Top 10 for 2012 SupraDarky. Jeremy Soule really outdoes himself with this soundtrack.
I keep hearing "Godzilla, Godzilla"
this theme kicks ass, but my favorite musical score from this game is "the raven speaks" boss theme that plays during dragon fights (Zhaitan, claw of jormag, the shatterer. ETC)
I'm in the exact same situation as you. I remember how dearly I loved this game, played it tons of hours per day, fought through those epic story quests... Got shivers when "Fear Not This Night" played after the Eye of Zhaitan. But once I reached LV 80, I had the same problem as you, and only came back for the Halloween event, and left again... Now I want to go back to playing it - but there's no real incentive. I can't get legendaries. xD
I have always thought about playing this the no-sub thnig fits my budget. But I kina want avoid games where I have to grind in battles for superrare equipment that is pointless because I have already beaten the hardest stuff TO GET THEM!
So far not a single game I've played.
And because of the waypoint system which lets you teleport around the world, this is one of the rare MMOs where you don't feel like you're wasting a lot of time getting to what you actually want to do. The soundtrack by the Soule brothers is top notch, unsurprisingly.
I remember when I fought the Eye of Zhaitan, I immediately knew I'd add this theme to the list at some point. Guild Wars 2 does so many things right for the MMO genre and because there's no monthly fee, you don't feel bad whenever you decided to take big breaks, which is the case with me right now. It's an awesome game but I don't really have any big incentive to keep playing post lvl 80 apart from some new equipment skins (the Legendaries are out of my reach). I'll be glad to come back someday.
