Well the series was planned to be six parts (then seven because one and two were meant to be one game). But, it didn't end up happening and never will because Nintendo bougth Monolith Soft.
I did play xenogears for a dozen hours or so.. i couldnt get into it. Characters felt generic, plot made no sense and felt nonsensical so far.. i know its a very popular game, but still, i prefer xenosaga by a mile
these Xenosaga vgm's make me a sad sad gamer still hoping for an Episode 4 that'll never see the damn light =/

I love the part from 1:10. Been looking for this song for so long but couldn't find it. I don't think it was on the official soundtrack?
A shame the in-game music nvr got a digital release. great stuff from shinji hosoe.
The futeristic feel combined with the winter-area feeling of the song makes it feel kinda like an apocalypse in winter (even more so with the static like noise around 0:40).
One of my old faves... it reminds me of Metroid Prime's ice areas.
I've been through all 3 xenosagas twice now. Great series hopefully we'll eventually somewhere down the line see another one.

Lately you've been hitting all of my nostalgic sweet spots...
This game is freaking hard, but I love the music and just the general ambiance. This is considered the dark sheep of the series, but I enjoyed playing it at least as far as I got. I never played the 3rd one.
I've had a busy shopping day so that explains the late upload. This is a nice mix of eletronic and atmospheric winter theme with its chilly pads and looping synth. It sounds exactly like what it should be, a snowy theme set in a futuristic world. I know some people aren't fans of this game's soundtrack by Hosoe, but I personally love it.
It's very retro, like something directly out of the mega man franchise.
