Uf that music, how many battles with my friends I have done with this soundtrack. I remember the time we played a lot Dragon Ball games on PS2. The years between the first Budokai and the Tenkaichi 3 were marvelous and unforgetable.

ah, I remember the PS2 Dragonball Z games, probably the best generation for Dragonball Games in general. a shame that because of the controvery, Dragonball HD Edition was released with some extremely bland music...

oh pokemon.... i was a senior in high school when first got big. I remember when the first movie came out, me and all my friends went to see it in the theater, about 11 of us if memory serves, we took up a whole row and we were louder and more obnoxious than all the kids in the entire theatre

My big animes were 4... Dragonball and Dragonball Z. Pokemon(though it doesn't count as much since I was unaware it was anime because it was video game related) Full Metal Alchemist. And surprisingly Sailor Moon. Yes, I grew up with Sailor Moon. If Toonami played it, I watched it.

I really liked the map exploration themes from Budokai 3. Over The Galaxy, particularly. That theme stuck in my head for years after I stopped playing it!
I liked this game a lot back then. Looking back now, it actually doesn't look that good at all o_o
Goku and Cell are so strong in this game. I loved them matched-up.

Even if this song is a complete rip off of Hunting High and Low it's still pretty damn awesome. The Budokai games all bring back so much nostalgia :)

DB was one of my first animes along with Sailor Moon and Pokemon, and I spent most of my grade school years watching DBZ. I've never played this one, but I beat Budokai 2 a long time ago.

I wasn't a big fan of this game, but the music by Kenji Yamamoto (not the one who composed for the Metroid series) is rocking fun. Now Budokai Tenkaichi, that's a game I loved back then. Watching the DBZ cartoon as a kid is probably what made me love anime, such a classic. That and, to a lesser extent, Saint Seiya. If I had to name a 3rd anime that really piqued my interest as a kid, it'd have to be Pokémon back in 1998.
