This could be a Joe Hisaishi track on Howl's Castle and Spirited Away.
Perhaps one of Yuzo's best tracks ever... and that is saying a lot.

I am completely and utterly addicted to this piece of music. Once I reached it on the soundtrack, I've had it looping. Haven't even made it to the other tracks yet!
I can't wait for EO4, and hearing the soundtrack for the game is making the wait harder! I know the wait will be worth it though. :)

Probably some kind of bossa, or jazz fusion in some cases. There is a Japanese jazz fusion band that has a similar sound, didn't find the song I was looking for on the tube but here is one of their songs -> /watch?v=--OrkayweIs

Funny. I've been thinking about this game and the 3DS lately. Unlike the gameboy color and the DS for the most part, it has an awesome sound chip. I can only imagine the possible sequels to my favorite franchises. My favorite franchises that have always been limited sound wise being able to have more wiggle room and really explore. Koshiro did it with EO4 clearly. Imagine Ace Attorney or Advance Wars or even Pokemon.
What genre of music does this qualify as? It sounds jazzy to me, but I have no idea really.
Lolwut ? EO3 is better than the first one by far, the second one is still the best (well, i don't really know better music than petal bridge...), but EO3 got some kickass boss themes (way better than others EO special boss themes), some good donjon music (the first strate, the third one and the fifth one) + the battle theme ,and the music when you're on the see, who is my fav , you really feel you're on adventure.
GAH~~! I want this game so bad >_< and this piece just makes me want it that much more. Thank you for uploading this

Quick correction, the first EO was released in EU, but 2 and 3 were not.
The last 3 EO games were released stateside (sorry EU), so it's widely believed it's just a matter of time before they localize and release it. My guess is Q1 of 2013.

Yeah I should have mentioned I was mainly talking about the labyrinth themes. The third's battle themes were pretty solid.
My favorites themes from EO4 so far are the 5th Labrynth's and the second random battle theme. This whole soundtrack is amazing though!
Subscribing was such a great decision. I'd never learn about music like this otherwise!

Is this game ever coming out in America? Didn't hear anything at e3 which I would of liked to have heard something one way or the other.
After using FM synths for the first 3 games, Koshiro went with live instruments for EO4. As much as I liked the first 2 games' soundtrack, I was very disappointed by the music in EO3. Thankfully, this has great music. It makes me want to play the game and hear it in-game while exploring the dungeon, it's quite hard to imagine this track getting interrupted by battles though !
