Such a lovely song. It reminds me of "Hello" by Evanescence in some parts.
I remember once when I passed through this area and this music played in the back and me and my companion were playing in the clouds, chirping to eachother, circling around, joining the 'fishes and whales' and just having fun... I cried. I felt such a strong emotion within me, it's impossible to put it in words. Two people who never met and were simply fooling around in the skies... I never felt as close to someone as in that very moment. Journey is truly an amazing game and I will never regret having bought it. It touches the player in such a way that only those who went through it can truly understand this feeling. And it teaches a valuable lesson too: Life is a journey, it can be beautiful and it can be dangerous, but it's those we find along the way that truly make the journey's worth while. And at the end of every journey... a new one awaits.

I happened to replay the final of Journey again two days back and it's still impactful. I hope Sony adds this to the games they are upresing for the PS4 (glad Flower did). Really deserves a play through for those who didn't play it on the PS3.
Ikr, I thought AC3 was going to be really good but it isn't even close it it's predecessors.... Journey however is a different story ^.^
In my opinion, this game is flawless. It is absolutely perfect through narrative, concept, visual style, and game play. I love the shit out of this game. If someone were to ask me what this game was about, I'd tell them it's about the experience. Journey is a 2-3 hour masterpiece.

If you can't play this game I would highly suggest watching LucahJin's LP of it, she does a very good job of presenting the game without ruining the experience.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one. By far one of the most beautiful sequences I've ever experienced in a game.
This game has a very unique feel to it. The story, design and of course music are working very well together. In a sense it's very minimalistic, so you can focus on the very few but beautifully made details and astonishing artwork. I've played a lot of games and I think this one is special. Concerning the communication it's different, you have to interpretate actions of others to work together instead of saying/writing "do this/that". Whoever owns a PS3 should have this in his/her repertoire.
1) BUY A PS3....WAYYYY too many exclusives you are missing out on 2) This game was a beautiful experience
the people in this game remind me of the people in the game Nier, which had a great soundtrack, you might want to check it out sometime
Listened to this about five times now. So, so achingly gorgeous.
You're cheating yourself out of some of the best gaming experiences this gen not owning a PS3. I'm not saying that as a fangirl, I just always find it sad when people miss out on the best games of a generation due to not owning whatever specific console. Here's hoping for a time when consoles become standardised like DVD players!

It is interesting how a game with no dialog can be so emotionally stirring and memorable. I highly recommend playing it as well. SupraDarky you deserve a ps3 for all the music you have posted. At least find a friend that will let you play it.
Video games can be a serious medium if the industry works at it, this game is proof of that.
Don't buy this game for the soundtrack. Don't buy it for the art. Don't buy it because people say they bought a PS3 just to play it. Buy it because you will cry. Buy it because it will move you. Buy it because it's beautiful.
I won't say it's worth getting a PS3 just for this game, but it's worth finding somebody that has a PS3 and relentlessly pestering them to allow you to use it for a few hours to play this game. Seriously, I have a full playthrough uploaded (which you absolutely SHOULD NOT WATCH if you haven't played the game yet). This game is as life-changing as a video game could possibly be, and the best part is, it makes you feel WONDERFUL. It's not somber, or frightening, it simply makes your heart swell.
I was in tears during the ending sequence of this game. As a stand alone gaming experience this takes the top spot. I literally had chills throughout my body. The atmosphere was simply amazing. This definitely ranks among my favorite games of all time which includes the likes of Shadow of the Colossus, Limbo, BioShock, ICO, Closure, BioShock 2 Minerva's Den, Enslaved, Red Dead Redemption, etc.

I finished this last week. It was highly emotional for me. I don't know how a 3 hour game could do something like that, but its a masterpiece.
I watched Lucah's LP of this game. It's a really weird game, but really beautiful, too. It's definitely NOTHING like ANY other game around these days.

I've played the demo...damn it I have to save my money for a bit but let me tell you, soon as I have the money, this game is a must buy. Even with a backlog of games, this tops my list of must plays and will push back the backlog. It was that good.

Having played the game through several times, I can definitely that it's an experience beyond words, and anyone who says video games can not be considered an art form obviously have never played anything as moving as this. Without a single line of dialogue the game pulls you into it's world and makes you care about what happens to you and those around you. Making the Journey with a friend is even more incredible, and I urge any and all who love this media to play this game.

Journey is definitely, at the very least, one of the most atmospheric games this generation, and was the game that finally convinced me to get a PS3.
Both the theme, AND the style reminds me of Samurai Jack for some reason. I might consider checking this game out, merely for the soundtrack. This thing is beast!
Hopefully I can play this game someday as I don't have a PS3. I've heard great things about it, I like how Thatgamecompany always makes unique games. Their contract with Sony is over so I'm looking forward to playing their next games. Journey has a very pleasant presentation : great art style and an awesome soundtrack. It's good to see a developer that understands how important the music's role still is in a video game.
