I love how they used this theme in Earthbound too.
I just realixed this plays in earthbound while going through the dessert but in that game it sounds like a radio is playing it
+Dark Link Same here! When I finally got around to playing Earthbound on VC, I kept thinking "I feel like I've heard this song in a complete version somewhere", but I didn't realize where until now. Excellent throwback to the previous game! : D

Remember when Fassad had Salsa with him? There was a desert at that point and the song "Monkey's Love Song" played.
This game was just as good as Earthbound and really made me smile to play it... Except for for those frakking Sky Yddets.
This game was so fun! But really difficult! It took me two tries. The first time I just failed around Youngtown I think... (but I basically cheated through the desert anyway). Then I played through the 2nd time completely legit. If you think the desert is a pain, just wait till Mt. Itoi. :)
no For Mother 2. Mother 3 didn't have a desert area, besides the Highway.
At first, I thought "this sounds familiar, even though I don't recall getting this far in the game", then I realized, it was remixed into the Dusty Dunes Desert theme in EarthBound!

Yeah, I like this version better than the one in EarthBound. It's more catchy.

Kinda sounds like a tropical resort
One of the many themes I was pleasantly surprised to hear when I played this game years after Earthbound. Even now, I always associate it with the Dusty Dunes Desert theme from Earthbound. It just screams "hot desert music", I love it.
