It's very strange, i swear that in my game this play in the final battle, just when you climb the head of malus. Although it's a pirate version, not an original game so i don't know if the game was altered. Anyone knows something?

I gave it some thought, altough i like this theme, i now know that Demise of the ritual was actually perfect for Malus. Yes i said it was too emotional, but i like emotional bosses as well.
I think this should have been the theme that plays when you turn into Dormin and fight Emon and his men.
This should have been the final boss theme. The final boss theme in the game was too emotional, not that i hate emotional final bosses. Its just that, the music in the game was too disturbing and feels like you aren't even fighting a boss. This theme however is excellent, the battle was emotional, but it just needed some epic boss music, not just some theme that relys on sadness. Still, i think it was a great final boss.

I played both versions. As far as I know its a strictly cosmetic overhaul (Aside from the special features). As with all HD remakes one can tell its an old game,the higher resolution reveal some textures' age. I dont think the feeling suffers of that though, the technical gap isnt that huge after all. I enjoyed the HD version better, but for other reasons: my PS 2 controller has seen many a battle, it has had it's times; and my TV has a weird contrast problem with any last gen cables.
Sounds awesome! But is it a type of game that is better remade in HD? (Like they just did) Or is it better to play the old one, cause I know some movies and games don't have the same feeling when remade in HD. Thank you for your previous answer too :D
I can't say anything about Ico since I didn't play it yet. But at least Shadow of the Colossus is. It's simply amazing, the kind of atmosphere, story and character they portrait with so little dialogue or cutscenes. Also it's spineshiveringly epic, clawing to gigantic creatures with your bare hands and a sword, all with this amazing soundtrack. It's.. quite the experience. The HD remakes are like what? 30 bucks? Definitely worth it!

Yeah, since both tracks have different official names I thought it wasn't necessary, but I'll add a mention.
I'll be honest, I can't really play this game. Soundtrack? Perfect. Story? Perfect. Gameplay? Perfect. But the controls are very much you have to get used to the physics and control of everything and I just can't do it and enjoy it. That said, I've beaten it and this still ranks as one of my favorite games of all time for everything else. I'm not saying the controls are bad, just what I said, to enjoy the game you need to get used to the more realistic control and I couldn't do that.
This game has epic written all over it! And even though I haven't had the chance to beat it yet, I already know this game is awesome from start to finish!

This plays in my head when a mosquito wakes me up in the middle of the night and I'm forced to turn on the lights and hunt it down. This game had both beautiful and epic themes. Still waiting on you, The Last Guardian.
