From all Bowser fights in the whole Mario franchise, this is my favorite one. I was so scared whenever Bowser got faster and bigger.. It took me many tries I remember.

Reminds me a little of the song "Fireball" by Deep Purple. Fast, guitar-driven piece with some amazing organ work. Good stuff.
If it wasn't for fucking Luigi... They wouldn't have to save Yoshi's Island from pyschotic baby bowser...
If Kamek could've always done this to Baby Bowser, the Yoshis probably would've had to go save their Island, anyways. They probably avoided a complete catastrophe when they set out to go find Luigi!

I'm going to say that this is most likely the best 2D platformer of all time with some truly great songs and ideas to go with it. Every boss was a very unique experience, and especially the final one was highly memorable.

Yeah, that fight against Mega Bowser was adrenaline pumping. Everything was just so well put together. The perspective shocked the heck out of me because it's never been in the gameplay up to this point...and this track is one of Kondo's best works. Needs a rock remix badly.

I remember one time on this fight where my older sister hit every egg in a row until he was way the hell in the back. She was on the final hit where he just keeps running at you no matter what and she missed every egg after that. I'm screaming "Hit him, hit him!" and she yelling "I can't, I can't hit him!" We then proceeded to scream out of fear of him getting really close. Lol, man good times.
this used to be my favourite game on the snes but then... well my snes broke. i still have the games but no snes *sigh*

I remember when I first fought beat Baby Bowser and I was like "Yes!" Then I saw Kamek come and I'm like "Crap! Ok, ok, calm down you can do this." And then the castle gets destroyed and the giant Baby Bowser looms over the horizon and I think. "... I am so screwed."
Huh, I must be thinking of something else then...I remember one really hard level prior to Baby Bowser...I assumed it was that one because everyone always brings up the Endless World Of Yoshis...
After Endless World Of Yoshis, I could handle anything, certainly a chump like Baby Bowser. I think anyone who got here knows that feeling.

The only other moment that compares to this feeling of rush and adredaline , In my opinion is when you reach Sigma in MMX1, the 2nd act when sigma fights with his sword. Shit is just too hype, i seriously finish the game sometimes just to fight against sigma.
i played this when i was 12 yrs old, and omg, when i reached bowser, this music combined with the fact that a big ass bowser was coming for you made me jump off the chair of exitment, the ENERGY you feel in that last boss IS JUST TOO MUCH!!! It just fits perfectly the moment! I love this game!

XD epic memories with this theme, i remember being really young and i finally beat bowsers first form, i then see him grow and the music plays, i shit my self (figuratively) and throw the controller to my older sister.
you know by the end of the you think it wouldn't be terrifying sine you fight a bunch of other giant guys but damn it is terrifying because he's charging right at you. I still remember my reaction to this when I played it spo long ago.

I never screamed from it but it definitely gave me the chills when he got too close, now-a-days I'll turn this boss music on whenever I play a game that needs an extra boost in epicness.

Oh god yes! I was actually kind of waiting for this! It's amazing! And I agree not only the music is freaking great, it's the whole fight! Just thinking about it, the giant ass fireballs, seeing the castle crumble under your feet, hearing Bowser's roar in my head; it sends chills down my spine! The BEST 16 bit Boss fight. Yes, it's kind of bigger than Lavos and Evan / Deathevn.

Such a memorable and unique fight, it blew me away back then. Of course it helped that it was backed by some rockin' music. This is one of my favorite platformers of all time, easily.
