child and adult humor mixed in with original weapons and amazing gameplay, this is an amazing Franchise and the first Ratchet and Clank was the first ps2 game i EVER played, and highly reccommend this :)
Possibly the most satisfying series I own. Though it sadly keeps getting easier and the game play as a result is always shortened. I saved over my original file of going commando a bunch of times and had to beat it all over again just for the sack of it... never fully upgraded every weapon (as a result of having to replay them). The titles are always so clever.

awww yeah, I sure can remember this one. R&C are cool games. Though, all of the games got some down times which just don't make too much fun. However, overall the games are the best Action-Jump&Run-Games I could imagine and recommend. I hope the games, if there come new ones, are not made too "cute" because I like the way it has its comic-like graphics and still does not get ridicilous with the action part.
You can skip Deadlocked and the PSP ones but other than I highly recommend them all.

I highly recommend the third one. It's just as funny as the first two, maybe more so (the villain is AWESOME in it), and the gameplay's just as fun. Haven't played the others yet myself, but I intend to remedy that.
Yes! Thank you for adding some of this music. It's top notch stuff! Very nostalgic. I will tell you this much, I didn't play past the 3rd game, which was still pretty great. From what I heard though the 4th wasn't the same. But it looks like the last few are pretty good. I've yet to play them as well. I'm a major fan of the series, and the second game is one of the best games I've played period.

3rd and 4th are my favorite games, hopefully we'll see another single player game now that Insomniac has tried multiplayer

I've only played the first two games in this series, I should get to the other ones at some point since I loved them both. It's all about having fun with these games and playing around with the different weapons. I remember the commercials, I found them pretty refreshing.
