It's weird, but I was absolutely ready to attribute this track to being from a fan game. Can't help but think "I Wanna Be The Guy" when I hear it. It's one of those things where you make a connection the first time you hear something and it sticks. The original version of a song will sound like a remix if you heard a remix first for example.
@SupraDarky I was the opposite. I recognized it right away when I played IWBTG. "This is definitely from GG Isuka" xD

It's about time you figured that out. :S IWBTG has a ton of songs from other games, though this was the hardest song to pinpoint.

Good ol Guilty Gear :D This game introduced me to the GG/BB franchise, though it was not that good compared to GG:XX n stuff Everyone who likes Beat em ups especially in 2D like King of Fighters etc MUST play this game
Wow I listen to GG soundtracks a LOT, and somehow passed on Isuka, so I also never knew this was from this game! There is no original track in IWBTG, should have known...

Thought I recognized this. I Wanna Be The Guy. Beat it on Easy. Even beat it on Normal. Still have yet to beat it on anything harder. Of course, that'd take time, something you don't have when you play at a friends house.
