Another devote of Yoko Kanno (Cowboy bebop, Escaflowne, Ghost in the shell, Wolf's rain...) here! However, I wasn't really aware of her works regarding videogame music. Btw, another Japanese composer whom I love (and of whom I do am aware of her work outside the anime world) is Yuki Kajiura :) Don't forget this name Supra :)

yknow, this song made me stop and think. I thought, why did kids in the "old days" like wooden dolls so mutch? then I thought that they might make a little platiform game using it... witch makes me wonder. when where 2D platiform games REALLY invented?

Yoko Kanno always manages to compose quality tracks. Even her work outside of videogames (Cowboy Bebop anyone?) is awesome. This track is mainly about the snowy atmosphere, I can imagine kids waking up one morning, looking out the window and seeing the first snow of the year. All excited, they hurry up, get changed and play in the snow outside, snowballs getting thrown everywhere. The other track I uploaded, Cecil's Garden, is still one of my favorite VGM ever.
