My favorite song from the game. After 5 hours playing through, I was slowly realising how great this was gonna be, and that track popped up ! It's just so good... The whole game is just so good !

Yeah i agree 3 & 4 are amazing. Battle for everyone's Soul is really epic for that long last final battle.
I just beat this game (true end) a couple weeks ago. This game's worth all the hype it gets and then some. The soundtrack to this game is great. My favorite song for the franchise is probably "Battle for Everyone's Souls" though.

Persona 4 is the best game for the PS2. This is one of the best songs in the game, though I'm partial to the 'heaven' theme myself...

@Arc13 Ah ok, but you should know "The Answer" (name of epilogue) is only available in hard mode, and the after end of game your stats resets back to 20 something i heard. It is a huge grind from what i've been told and there are no S Links to do, just dungeons only with few cutscenes. If this doesn't put you off i say go for it, or you can always watch the cutscenes of it on youtube and lay psp version
@metalmayhem007 I think I could adapt, unlike many I actually enjoyed FFXIII, although that battle system was much more complex(not the game itself, Persona is ahead by miles, just the battle system, easily XIII's best aspect and what pushed me through). I'm not sure which to go with honestly, I want extra features but knowing this knowledge now, 3 would be improved if I had access to my whole party(not to mention get me a little closer to their characters).
@Arc13 Yeah same with me too lol, i played persona 3 portable first and 4 this year. Just a word of warning the ps2 version doesn't allow you to control party members which is why people hate going backwards from P4 to P3 , if you don't like the idea get portable it has same battle as P4. You will miss out on a 30hr epilogue though which is available on P3 FES (ps2 version), although i hear it is not very good.
@Xiao911 I agree, i beat it quite recently man what a blast, i regret quitting it months ago but that was mainly due to difficulty of early bosses lol. Definately my favourite rpg, probably game of all time.

This is SOOO Japanesey (I know it's not a weird but I needed an description). I really liked it though. My fav tracks where the instrumental ones like "Long Way Ahead" and "The Awakening
Whenever I first heard this theme, I had to stop for a second just to listen to it. The goodness of this theme always made me sad for cloudy and rainy days, and there seem to be more of those than sunny days.

Almost a year ago since I first played this game, and my GOD I was blown away how good it was! People, if you have a PS2, BUY IT! If you don't have one, then wait for the Vita version, it will be better than the PS2, with alot of new things! :)

@maxmra Every episode I already know what's going to happen, but somehow it makes the anime slightly better, I'd say! It's like "omg omg, now he's going to...OMG HE DID IT!", and then I burst into laughter 'cause it's so awesome xD

Chie was my favorite. :) I have to say, everything about such games screamed that I would not enjoy this game. Dungeon crawling, tracks like this, the whole school portions, etc. Yet I loved this game so damn much. Now I need to get myself Persona 3.

This game has one of the best overall soundtracks for anything I've played. Great choice for a showcase.
@SupraDarky Atlus wants to sort-of get much out of P4 and the other Persona games first. Since most of the SMT games are not as hyper popular as Persona. Persona 5 will get announced, but wait for either CES or the next E3.

I really like the background music in this game. It's super up-beat and nice to listen to. P4 was such an awesome game. I'll replay it again one of these days (it's just so damn long :/). If there is anything that makes me want a PS Vita right now, it is P4: Golden. And I'm extremely excited for Persona 5! (Persona 3 & 4 have basically made me an Atlus fanboy, so long as the game is developed by them).

(BIG improvment on most of the P3 map themes imo) Oh god, how I can't wait to hear it again when Golden comes out! ^w^ ...When Sony hopefully drops the riduculous price on the Vita XD Btw, I have been watching the anime too. And while it's great and a REAL gem in anime, I do feel it is kind of rushed. Just sayin'

Funny story about this song: I put some songs of the OST disk on my PS3 to make a custom playlist and used it on Burnout Paradise. Every time it reached the "Your Affection" part I would hit something or crash XD

This one and Heartbeat Heartbreak are both entirely in English. Also, i think Persona 3 had a song that was completely in french, but it migh'tve just bee na few lines, i don't remember so well.

Besides the boss themes in this game I didn't really enjoy the music. Too jpop for me. Shin megami tensei nocturne on the other hand had some of the best soundtracks I have ever heard.
I was kinda of hoping for a stand still animation for the protagonist. One with him dancing to this music.
After two boss themes from this game, it's time for an upbeat vocal track. Still no news about Persona 5 since its announcement. I can't wait, I need more Meguro music.
