I don't know why, but I could never finish this game. I really enjoyed it both times I tried to play it, and got pretty far both times, but I just couldn't finish it. Maybe one day.
In my honest opinion, Super Paper Mario has by far the best music out of all Paper Mario games. I think this amazing game is underrated just because it doesn't have those round-based battles. But it really is a great game with a superior story.

Awesome rpg-type music. Best in the game. Wished it wasn't a platformer .. It would have been better.

@SupraDarky I agree with you Thousand Year Door was indeed the best one =D Great great GREAT music! =D And a superb yet dark story-line for a Mario game D: lol First one has some great music to, Like Peaches Castle is nice, Angry Bowser, Toad Town, Shy Guys Toy Box, Star Summit(I think <.<) Star Road and I think Star City? Great tunes I know you'd like =D And then This Paper Mario was really good... Had emotion in it, and a good soundtrack, something was just missing though <.<; lol

@SergeantSargeMcFly A new game or a spin-off being radically different is good. GREAT even. A SEQUEL being radically different is just stupid. People will go into it with the perfectly reasonable expectation that it will be more of the same, and then be reasonably upset when it is nothing like its predecessors. Like, imagine if the next Mario Kart was a fighting game. That would be fucking retarded, right?
No original Paper Mario music on the list? Try these : Tubba Blubba's Theme, Crystal King's theme, Mario and Peach's Theme, Bowser's Rage, Koopa Bros. Theme, Bowser's theme, Crystal Palace.
@xirawito I like to say that criticizing a game for being different is as contradictory as criticisms can get. Innovation is almost always a pro, not a con. Also. You can't just focus on gameplay if you want to fully enjoy Super Paper Mario. Appreciate its beautiful atmosphere, story and soundtrack as well. Because honestly, people who only play games for the gameplay are no better than those who only play them for the graphics.

Super Paper Mario is so underrated, sure its not the original or TTYD but it was a great game. Can't wait for Paper Mario 4!

Kind of a shame that some of the best songs in the series were wasted in a halfassed spinoff that was pretty much insulting 2 of the most fun JRPGs, that are Paper Mario 1 and 2. Especially since a proper entry on Wii never followed... probably neither on WiiU, since it's going Handheld now :I
i personally love count bleck's theme and mimi's theme from this game but from paper mario, i love the koopa bros battle theme, crystal king battle theme and twink's theme

@SupraDarky My favorite is TTYD. Really close behind is the original Paper Mario. Super Paper Mario had it's own charm, but it couldn't compete..
@dx619hey Oh yeah, the Tubba Blubba chase has engraved itself so deeply in my memories. It was one of my first "holy shit" moments in gaming as a kid, and the music is on of my favorite tunes of all time. @SupraDarky, you NEED to put up some Paper Mario music too!
Stats watch: With its 3rd song, Super Paper Mario is tied with its predecessor The Thousand Year Door, as well as Super Mario Galaxy 2, Super Mario Land and Super Mario World. Damn, there are a lot of awesome soundtracks in Mario games! Sadly, poor old Paper Mario for the N64 is nowhere to be seen. :(

Oh man, Paper Mario was the first game I ever played on my own. I love that game. I love all the battle music, but it's hard to say what song is my favorite overall. Either the Tubba Blubba chase or one of the boss themes, but I should probably revisit it as well.

I thought this was a great spinoff Paper Mario game, I really enjoyed it. TTYD is still my favorite in the series overall though. I'll replay the first Paper Mario game soon since I somehow forgot all about it, so some music from that game should appear in the list afterwards.
